Very close to everything. Small bedroom but ok and clean.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Portinari very much. Every employee was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. We were close to the train station, restaurants, sites in Brugge and all the chocolate a person could ever want! This was also just steps away from a bicycle garage which was very helpful.

Close to everything to see, shopping, and the train station with very friendly staff to welcome you at the front desk. Rooms are spacious. Could be cleaner if tables and glassware was swapped out if collecting dust in the rooms. Housekeeping service did not make the bed or replace the towels left on the floor as given in the instructions on room door handle. Air conditioner is temperature controlled and locked out at 19 degrees which would be fine if it stayed on but it turned off in the middle of the night. Staff provided excellent, courteous, and super helpful information upon arrival and when needed. Additionally they helped with transportation connections when leaving. Multiple attractions within walking distance helps keep a traveler busy during their stay from museums to shopping to countless cafe choices. One other thing is if you want to pick up snacks from the local supermarket, most things close at 10pm for the night so plan wisely. The room houses an adequate sized fridge to keep a few things.

We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel was beautiful and exceptionally maintained. The staff was wonderful. They had a wonderful breakfast set up. And best of all it's in the heart of everything. The price was excellent for and was everything we expected.

Lovely hotel!! So clean, beautiful & staff were so helpful! It smelled amazing. Very quiet to sleep at night. Room has everything you need. Can leave your luggage on the last day in a holding room to enjoy Bruge before you need to leave. Would definitely book again!

The reception and staff were clean, spacious and helpful. The room was ideal for our short weekend break with everything needed and further supply of tea was readily available from reception. The shower worked well and lift and stairs easy to find and worked

Breakfast was not free. Not sure why it’s advertised as free but we had to pay for it.

Room was very clean and spacious. Lovely shower. Would have been nice to have had a coffee/tea machine in the room rather than just a kettle. All of the Staff were extremely helpfull and cheery. Perfect location. Very convenient to access the public car park although we found it difficult to find the entrance initially.

Reception staff particularly the Slovenian lady were great Good location

Bed in our initial room was extremely firm, but we asked at the front desk & the lady there very kindly moved us to a new room with a mattress topper. Was apparently the only one in the hotel, so I think we got pretty lucky there but the front desk lady was extremely understanding and friendly about it all. Cleaners were also lovely the one time I met them & room was always very clean.
