The hotel is very dated even the elevator and use of actual keys to open and unlock the room door. The room was extremely hot as there was no air conditioning in the room and the temperature was above 23*C even went up to 26*C and the hotel only provided a small fan. The window barely opens to let air in, it was ver uncomfortable to sleep for the two nights we stayed there. The breakfast was fresh not a lot of choices as you order from the menu. The room was clean and the location good.

A great place to stay when visiting Dublin. Obviously a lot of people would want to stay in the city centre, however this hotel is only about 15 minutes from Temple Bar on the bus, which costs about five euros for two people, so it's well worth staying at. There's a lovely little village about 10 minutes walk away, with a high street in another place about 15 mins away. The room has everything that you need and has plenty of space, unlike some of the places in the city centre. Cooked breakfast was lovely, with various options to choose from. Bar has good options for dinner and drinks, reasonable prices too. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, with special mention to Justin who's great to chat to, a lovely guy. Myself and my gf had a lovely five day stay here, would highly recommend people stay here rather than in the city centre.

Plenty of parking. Breakfast was nice. It’s a little older and needs some updating.

Great staff, clean hotel and rooms, big room, just small bathroom, bit of a challenge to use shower and toilet if one is more ample. Overall had a good stay.

Large free car park, from the outside the hotel looks somewhat dated, like a 70s school block. However inside it’s very nine, quite spacious and a nice bar restaurant (Liffey Bar) with a lunch carvery, bar menu, daily specials. Portions were huge and the food was lovely, we had lunch and dinner here twice and couldn’t fault it. Service was very good, plenty of staff and all genuinely friendly. Breakfast is served in the Pine Restaurant and again was plentiful and really good. Lots of cold and hot options, cereal, muesli, fresh fruits, yoghurts, full Irish breakfast, veggie options, toast, porridge etc. The menu actually states if they don’t have anything you want ask them anyway and they will see what they can do - above and beyond IMHO. Our room was a good size and at the front middle, car park view, and countryside, hills beyond - very nice. Would definitely use again - short bus ride into city centre, good for Marlay Park which is why we were here.

Clean tidy hotel, staff were friendly, a bit basic, but pleasant enough, on a bus route for the city, if your driving plenty of parking
