Ive never stayed here before but Oceans was sold out. Booked online and requested a room view of the water. When i got to check in i verified that if i could please have a room with water view, she assured me i would and that "this is a very nice room". Alot of rooms though were not ready and we were told we would get a text when it was so we walked to the pool and got a text an hr or so later. Got up to the room, it was a city view. Not what i asked for. Especially bc im a paying customer and not using comps i called downstairs and they assured me they would either get me a new room or compensate me somehow. Also after 2 hrs the AC was not cooling either. So went down, was told they couldnt do anything but give me a smoking room bc i booked on a third party site. I dont smoke, i hate it so why would i settle for a smoking room? Or, i could come back down the next day with all my things and try to get a new room later in the day once they are all cleaned. I was asked, "whats more important, the view or the smoking room?" What a hassle and im sorry but this wasnt my screw up, it was yours. So I stayed in the room with the city view where the air barely worked.

First off it’s not on the boardwalk the inside pool was dirty the only area kids can go to seriously the water green and dirty felt like I was in an old people home center. The rooms was okay the beds super hard uncomfortable honestly I do not recommend at all!

The entire stay was so comfortable

The casino was very clean, nice staff, and easy to access your needs. We did not visit the area outside of the casino to really speak for it.

I came here to celebrate my 51 birthday. Before coming here i had a beautiful 90 min massage i was feeling great. After 3 days here due to the hard beds i cant due hard beds im leaving with bags under my eyes due to lack of sleep and my whole body is in aches and pain especially my back. I should have spent the xtra money for oceana their beds are way better and i would of had the board walk to walk around. This was an expensive lesson learn. Ihad a horrible birthday

Stay was relaxing -plenty of food options and all areas were clean. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

Over an hour to checkin, excuse was hotel was full the day before. Over 20 min to checkout. The amount expedia said to pay at hotel was not honored.

Two of 4 elevators did not work and had to wait 20-30 minutes until I get into a completely packed elevator. There was a woman in a wheel chair that couldn’t even get into the elevator.

I arrived at the hotel a little after 4:00 PM, expecting my room to be ready. Unfortunately, during check-in, I was told there were no rooms available for me, which was confusing given the standard check-in time. This was frustrating, as I had planned my arrival accordingly. Despite this issue, Tyrique at the front desk was extremely helpful and professional. He went above and beyond to assist me, ultimately securing me a room at the MGM Towers next to the Borgata. His excellent customer service helped make an inconvenient situation more manageable. While I appreciate Tyrique’s efforts, I would have preferred to be properly accommodated at the hotel I initially booked.

Excellent. 10 out of 10. Worth every penny

The room was outdated which was surprising. There was pretzels and chips crumbs under our nightstand. The carpet was soaking wet and had a mildew smell around the room. The wall tiles and the bathroom floors were also stained from previous guests. The cafeteria states that it's 24 hours when the food stands closed at 9 pm. The condition of the lobby was great but the indoor pool was outdated. I expected this hotel to be better but it's in desperate need of TLC!

Everything at the Borgata was great the food options were good and the bars were excellent.
