Fantastic customer service and staff ensuring the stay was perfect. Lovely room and facilities. Really enjoyed the spa. Great stay.

Lovely hotel and facilities. BUT I’m never comfortable with hotels that control the room heating from reception. Consequently when we arrived and it was 2 degrees outside - the room was freezing! If you control the heating from reception and have guests arriving- I don’t think it’s unreasonable to turn it on from check in time to warm the room so it’s comfortable upon guest arrival. This is obviously a problem as we went to the bar to leave the room to warm up and there were several other guests commenting on exactly the same thing! To be fair they brought blow heaters as soon as I went to reception to mention this. Also the heated towel rail is turned on with the wall lighting the lounge - which was not easy to notice - but left the bathroom freezing as well! I think this policy needs a rethink!

Staff make the venue, service is good, spa was excellent, the road noise makes sleep difficult. Building feels a little dated. Car parking fine.

Check-in was faultless and the room was spotless

The room was a great size with good facilities including a sofa area with desk and a large TV. Nice White Company amenities in the bathroom. I particularly loved the teapot and lovely selection of teas and coffee bags (rather than nasty instant coffee sachets). The only downside was that despite having several lamps the room was way too dark. There's no ceiling light and all of the bulbs in the lamps are warm white and not particularly bright, and covered by heavy lampshades, so they're not particularly effective even when they're all on. I raised two issues with the hotel and they were efficiently dealt with before I got back from work on the same day. Every single staff member I met was friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. The gym is modern and well-equipped and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised when comparing it to the standard of most hotel gyms. There's a retail park less than a minute minute drive away with various food options and shops. The breakfast spread includes cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, and a cooked hot breakfast. It was great that I was offered the chance to have eggs freshly poached for me or avocado on toast freshly made. I went with poached eggs on toast and it was done perfectly. I didn't use the bar but from the outside it looked warm and inviting, and well-stocked. I would certainly visit this hotel again, especially for what I consider to be a very reasonable price.

Great breakfast, but a shame the lift was broken. Had my wife been with me, she could not have climbed the stairs.

What stood out most was how alive the hotel felt, perhaps thanks to the festive activities. The bar was full, with guests constantly coming and going, and I honestly didn’t even know this hotel existed in Kettering before this visit. Breakfast was another highlight. Not only was the quality of the food excellent, but the staff were enthusiastic, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure everything was perfect, even checking temperatures to ensure everything was served just right. The view over the garden area was an added bonus and made the morning feel even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience from the atmosphere to the service.

Clean and quiet good sized room, kettle with tea and coffee, hairdryer, robes and slippers in room. Spa area is lovely with pool, sauna and steam rooms.

Unfortunately the food was poor. Brwakfast was good. Dinner and lunch today not great. I attended a meeting and the room was not recreshed or water replenished at all during the day. I loved the room. The little touches were spot on.

Very understaffed. Waited 20mins to be seated in an empty restaurant then 1hr to receive the main dish.

We had a lovely one night stay. Everything was of excellent quality, the rooms the breakfast and the staff who gave excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

Initial impressions were of a beautifully presented hotel. Ample parking & well maintained grounds. Welcome was warm & check in efficient. The room was incredibly spacious, comfortable & overall I wish we’d been staying for more than one night!

Old furnishings in the room but nice & clean. Bathroom needs updating.

It was a nice hotel the spa is really great we're going back there again

Well set out hotel with pleasant staff and good facilities. Our family room was spacious and comfortable with a decent bed. Dinner was excellent and breakfast good. Minor niggles were that the cleaning of the breakfast tables could have been a bit better (crumbs left behind) and having to pay for weekday parking.

Lovely stay, the staff were helpful and the pool is lovely. Especially great that children can use the pool. The breakfast is particularly good.
