Room was very clean and it had a small refrigerator,for long distance travellers stopping overnight, to store food stuffs (sandwiches & water etc) for their onward journey.

Odd layout of room with WC separate and no sink to wash hands. Pillows could be more comfortable, were far too bouncy causing neck pain. For a 4* it’s a shame there was no small bottles of water in the room. Even some 3* hotels add complimentary water. Furthermore, the fried eggs and omelettes were cold at the breakfast buffet. Keeping them heated would resolve this. The breakfast reception notice board says ‘Please wait here to be directed to your table’ - but then you’re left there searching for a table, and some tables you’re not allowed to use. Would be nice if they told you which tables to use or take you to suitable tables. Other than these, I like Van Der Valk but this particular one was a bit off compared to our usual experience. Very modern and new hotel and great staff, just some odd things as explained above.

While I realize the property is still under restoration, it would have been best to put effort into getting the lift functional (I have mobility issues and stairs are a difficult task). Staff was amazing to non-German speaking guests. 😃

A beautiful hotel, that has just as beautiful rooms. Most rooms doo seem to be have been recently renovated, though they are currently renovating the first floor so beware. The onsite dinner is delicious, as is the breakfast buffet

The hotel was extremely good and the personnel made the extra effort when needed.

Lovely staff at this hotel and a nice facility but unfortunately too noisy to enjoy my stay. Renovations are ongoing and I was awoken before 8am one morning by furniture being thrown from the second floor into bins below. Noise was very bad throughout the day as my room was one of the closest to the wing being renovated. To add on, I was directly below the fitness centre which was quite loud. We also lost use of the lift after the first day due to the construction. I would not stay again. Wasn;t able to relax or sleep well.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past 10 years or so and it never disappoints. The service is consistently good, staff are friendly and helpful and the amenities excellent. The food is always of very high quality and the bar is comfortable and relaxing after a hard day. A recommendation - book a 'Comfort Plus' room, overlooking the gardens, these rooms are far quieter than the rooms at the front of the hotel that although soundproofed, are overlooking the Autobahn.

Very good hotel. The is nothing to add. You will enjoy. I had only 2 small issues: 1) The rooms are a little dark 2) The heater in the room was behind some grid/net and it was blocking a lot of the heat.

The hotel is not that much to look at from outside, but very nice. Comfortable big room, nice bathroom, tasty breakfast.

Great hotel for business and other travelers. A really quite spacious hotel with good bar. Surprising considering that the area doesn't seem to offer much - but if you are looking then you probably have a good reason to stay here. Please don't hesitate, it's great.

Excellent hotel along the highway. I wished I could have tried the facility’s different offerings like the restaurant. I believe they even have a spa. Should I be in the neighborhood I would definately stay yhere again! BTW - dog friendly!

Nice hotel right by the autobahn. Very good service. Decent selection for breakfast at a reasonable price. As I arrived late in the evening, there were no options for something to eat after the restaurant is closed.

Very very good hotel to stay. Although the location is quite far from towns and markets, and there is no public transport as well. But you get taxi easily and on time. Hotel building, breakfast, lunch dinner, etc are all great. Would stay here again.

Nice ameneties and resteraunt facilities. Relaxing environment with a exquisite sauna, spa facility.
