Magical family friendly stay. Location was unbeatable, and facilities were beautiful. Highly recommend!

The room was clean but the bathroom door lock wasn’t working, the latch didn’t work, it won’t close. The breakfast was ok. The staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent service.

We love the location which is only 5 minute walk to St Mark's Square and the gondolas, close to shops and restaurants. It's a beautiful elegant hotel with it's own docking. The water taxi took us to the courtyard and very convenient with our luggage. The only negative thing is that our room - Room #30 - does not have a full length mirror ( not in the bathroom and not in the room!). I had to take a selfie to see what my outfit looked like on me. Breakfast area is very elegant but they served cold mini pancakes and waffles. Overall a wonderful hotel if they can only install a full length mirror. We did tell the hotel staff about it. We contacted the hotel a month before our arrival and they took care of our water taxi reservations. Awesome and safe location.

The hotel was a great location near food and bars and main attractions. The ceilings were very low, if you're over 6' you won't want to book here. The pillows were very flat but it's a secure building and their breakfast was very good.

I love the location, the courtyard for a late day drink, and the breakfast room. My room was small but adequate. Comfortable bed. Great shower.

Charming great location minutes from St Marks tons of shops known also for leather goods and beautiful murano glass. Many restaurants. Nice bar on second floor. The outlets to charge your devives. Some behind furniture. Our room had a beaurifulbath room. Very pleasant efficient staff. Evices

The location of the hotel is great! Less than a block to St. Mark's Square and Cathedral. There are plenty of dining options nearby. However, I lost my room key and they were besides themselves because the room number is engraved into the room key card. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel that has the number in the key card. It is a ridiculous practice!

All the staff operate with a very high level of customer service. My room was comfortable, beautiful and very clean. It's in a fantastic location for restaurants, site seeing and ferries. I like that you drop your key at the desk with them before exiting each time. They not only get to know their guests, but as an individual traveler it felt like another safety check for me 24/7.

Great location. On the canal with direct access to courtyard by water taxi. No dragging luggage through narrow crowded streets. 2 minutes to St Marks Square. 5 minutes to Rialto Bridge and everything you want to see is within a 10 minute walk. Perfecto. Will stay here again in our next trip.

Amazing property, right on canal! Clean and beautiful

Hotel Dona Palace was a great place to stay. I loved having a private dock. Our trains were delayed over 5 hours so, after a long day of travel from Capri it was great to have a water taxi that pulled us right up to the hotel. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the patio was a pleasant place to sit and watch the gondolas go by. Breakfast had a nice variety in a lovely room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The stay was excellent. Service was above and beyond. The staff was very helpful with all my transfers.

One minute walk from St. Mark’s Basilica. Relaxing patio on ground level and veranda on 2nd floor. Very quiet. Friendly staff, good breakfast, good drinks in lounge room. Rooms are typically small, well equipped. Clean. Highly recommended. Would stay again.

I booked a short weekend stay here for my wife’s birthday and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The location is extremely convenient to Piazza San Marco and is still a short walk to the Rialto Bridge area. Our room was a very good size, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice little balcony with a view of the canal where we could watch the gondolas float by. The breakfast buffet was spectacular with a large assortment of pastries, fruit and juices and included some egg and meat options as well. The hotel really made my wife’s birthday special as well with a wonder full dessert with a birthday candle at breakfast and when we returned to the room after a morning tour we were greeted with an ice bucket of Bellinis and a nice note wishing her a happy birthday. I will book this hotel again in a heartbeat on our next trip to Venice.

Nice boutique hotel but no real public space. Solely an outdoor terrace on the canal but kind of run down. We took their best room, top floor with balcony and outdoor jacuzzi. The room was nice but the space a little odd. Breakfast food was pretty poor and the dining room not very charming. Service was excellent with staff attentive, friendly, and efficient.
