The property is beautiful, some Portuguese guests think it is only for them very rude taking over our chair space and insisting we open our umbrella and the pizza making person very rude to guests, she did not want to serve me for some reason. I left 2 days ahead of time because of the unpleasant people, but Solaris is a beautiful hotel.

Bars don’t open until 11 am

The resort was great for the few days we were there. Nice beach, clean, great snack bar and the foam pool party was fun even when the wind kept blowing the foam out of the pool. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the food, it was ok but not as good as previous resorts I’ve stayed at.

Amazing property. The only negative comment was having to pay another several hundred dollars at the front desk to get a room with 2 beds even though this is what I booked.

Check in was efficient but being made to wait 27 min to just hit official check in time was a bit awkward. Have been to this property 4-5 times but seems they have sacrificed service for extra charges. Paid for room service and got 1/3 items, promised to correct order but never came back. Food was same every day despite published themes. Overall stay was ok but gave it very good 3 months ago.

We really loved the hotel. First of all, it is very family-oriented. As for the food, I think it was quite good overall. We ate at the specialty restaurants, Marco Polo and the Zai. Both were decent, but definitely nothing to be amazed by—I would even say we might have enjoyed the buffet more. They have a deli where you can get cold or hot sandwiches, along with several options for dessert and coffee. After 1 PM they start serving ice cream. We found this to be a great feature. The entertainment group was superb. They always had activities throughout the day, were very energetic, and consistently maintained a great attitude. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Roxa—she was fantastic and always smiling. Ruben and Santana were amazing as well. There are different spots to get all-inclusive beverages, and all of the bartenders were great. A special mention goes to Edgar at the pool bar—he was fantastic. The grounds are well maintained, and both the beach and pool were great. The only downside was that many of the pool chairs were already taken very early in the morning, so that’s something to be aware of. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The resort itself is beautiful and large. The main pools and walk up bar are really nice. There are plenty of food options all day. At one of our dinners we did have an issue where we found a little creature on our desert but we were impressed at how the staff handled the situation right away. They were kind and very apologetic.

Beach was nice. Staff was nice, and food at buffet each day qas good and many options.

Very good place to visit for family and couples also all stuff and management plus the owners are friendly. Thank you so much for everything.

The good: Overall experience was pretty good. The buffet was really good in my opinion. The resort is clean and staff were really good. Getting around the resort is easy they have a nice view of the beach and Laguna. For the price you pay its really decent. The bad: The restaurants had poor quality food compared to the buffet. Zai was good service bad food Don Gus was opposite. Wish they had a bit more for kids. Their shuttle service is basically non existent.

The room was very nice, clean and spacious: the view was perfect. The jetted tub was an added bonus but unfortunately never got to use it (too sun burned) the pool area was great but lots of other guest would reserve chairs with towels and be gone all day. So I recommend getting up early and getting a char by the pool if that is what your plans are for the day. The food was good, lots of different choices, the drinks were even better! Gotta love a nice pina colada (you have to try the mango one) on vacation! Will definitely be back.

Cleaning staff was great at cleaning the rooms. There was a couple of very rude staff but there were also very nice staff there. My husband and I found one or two front reception staff extremely rude (speaks to guests in condesending way). Totally different experience when dealing with Expedia Assistance staff. When we got sick, the Expedia representative at the property helped us make our trip better, considering we lost 2 days due to sickness. She went above and beyond and was always available via whatsapp. I would rate Expedia Rep/Concierge a 5 star. The food was okay. The staff at the buffet were always friendly and some friendly staff at the specialty restaurants but not all. Spa staff was great and so was the kids club staff. Beachfront was great. Expect to pay delivery for room service about $5 USD per order.

The pool for adults was small but decent.
