The hotel was OK. I did find it baffling that a hotel that shows photos of access to a pool then requests 25 euro per person to access it and then says it’s a ‘thermal pool’.

We were dissapointed this time as we had stayed a few years previously but the facilities especially the Spa were lacking in particular the cleaniness level very poor plus facilities ie heated loungers in spa area, three not working and the other three luke warm, the water fall wall all covered in lime scale, the chill out room upstairs, floors filthy, the pillowed U shaoed cushions, the grey pillowcases all dirty and not cleaned regularly. The view from this area outside again dirty with light strips hanging off, leaves and unkempt garden ( aware its winter) exposed wires, rotting wooden planters, all very dissapointing plus the over crowding of the spa area, there are 6 loungers but we experienced 9 persons in the zone. The pool area was full of guests and not relaxing for anybody! Bedroom was nice but on entry we had a strong toxic smell in the room, turns out they had resiliconed the shower. The televisión didnt work, a member of staff came up and confirmed it wasnt working but unfortunately no maintenance available and next day was New years eve. There were Gaza protestors outside the hotel also which was uncomfortable also. Overall my review unfortunately is dissapointing which is a shame as the hotel has the potential to be 5 stars all the ways but cleaning & maintenance needs addressing. wall

Room and facilities were really nice. Just doesn’t have the usual feel of a true 5 star like the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, but I would definitely stay again when I visit Galway.

Staff are friendly and go out of there way to help you would highly recommend it

Most of the staff were gracious, especially in the lounge. the person who checked us in, was not. I found him rude and discourteous. The hotel itself is fine.

From the moment you walk through the door, it's 5-star service! Absolutely beautiful and glamorous throughout and spotlessly clean with a glorious scent fantastically infused everywhere you go. We were only booked for a night but would gladly have loved to stay longer indeed! The Grand Salon dinner was scrumptious, delicious, and all the good things. Diana was a superb server and all the items were top-notch tasty - hummus with roasted veg, the g smash burger with chips, and the green curry with chicken, and ended with the best sticky toffee pudding ever - oh my, what a meal! The room has the details perfectly done. One feels as if you've stepped into 1930s Hollywood but with all the modern comforts, with even a nice note from attendant. The bathroom is spectacular with a deep freestanding tub, a 2-person shower with excellent water pressure, and beautifully bergamot and jasmine scented soaps, lotions, shampoo, and conditioner. This is truly a fabulous property in every way and we're delighted to bits to have stayed here!

Tired hotel in need of a major upgrade

Modern, funky hotel. Plenty of amenities and good staff.

Hotel was amazing, close to Galway but far enough away to get away from the crowds. Staff were helpful and the rooms were very comfortable.

All was good but the fact I found a used coffee pod left in the box. I didn't know how to switch on the fan in the bathroom.

Excellent room

Great location just out of downtown Galway. Great parking underground with good access and plenty of availability. Modern hotel with clean rooms and great facilities. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, but did eat in the lounge and found excellent food and service. Excellent accommodations for a visit to Galway.
