I have stayed here twice for business over the past couple of months. I was recommended this hotel by the travel app my company uses. Both stays were great, this is a solid 4 maybe 4.5 hotel. First the great; Good location right off of a main highway so easy to get in and out of the area. Plenty of parking, if there is an event the lot can get filled up but there is also parking down the street and you can move your car into their lot once the party is over. SPA…..the saunas are awesome, the have a high temp Finnish sauna (85-90C) as well as a bio sauna that is 50-60C. The best part of my day was relaxing in the sauna. There is also a steam room and showers, cold water buckets, massages, just a great way to either start or finish your day. I think I spent an entire Sunday in the spa this visit. Restaurant, very well prepared food, the venison dishes were perfect, the salads, deserts, etc, all top notch, I really appreciate the teaspoon of Manuka Honey after dinner, great touch. The reason I am giving a 4 and not a five is the rooms are a little dated, I don’t mind this a bit I think the rooms are perfect for my needs but if I am being completely honest, maybe a refresh in some cases is in order. Again it’s not a deal breaker at all. I plan on spending a lot of time here in the future for business and this hotel is a great place to stay away from home. Thank you Nells Park Hotel Chris

Hotel booked for working activities and not for tourism, accommodation is nice and the personnel are nice and kind. Had a dinner into the hotel's restaurant and taste is good despite the selection of meals. My expectations for breakfast were a bit different (not so big choice of products). In the end a thing to take into consideration, the wellness area is very nice, clean, quiet and match the expectations. The only thing that disappointed me is that the wellness' area receptionist doesn't speak English.

The nice part first: it is a beautiful boutique hotel, probably the nicest in the area. Sadly, we not only stayed there, but we also held an event there. Everything was a problem. Everything, even the well-advanced entry of our truck into the parking lot. We will not book this hotel again. UPDATE: as you see below, the hotel responded. And see, that is exactly what I mean. Everything is our fault. Just to extend an example: of course we advanced the arrival of the truck. In writing. And a follow-up call. And we booked a rooms for the drivers. And still the hotel suggests that the truck delivering the equipment for the event would arrive a day after the event. And worse: they suggest they provided a solution. The solution they provided is that they send the drivers away to park on a public parking somewhere 15 min away. I reduce my rating to one star - and for the event, I would give zero if I could. This hotel really has to learn its lesson. It's not that I can not only "not recommend", I would strongly advise against holding an event here.

Business trip where we made use of the LOFT which was perfect for an all day meeting. Lunch was very good served in the restaurant as was breakfast. My room was well equipped, quiet and bed comfortable. Location is good as we explored the city in the evening. Excellent friendly staff.

We checked in to room 220 last night, a family room for 4. The state of the room is horrifying. Our baby’s mattress is blood stained, one towel is blood stained, the room is dirty and many things are not functional. Broken shutters, ripped curtains, mold in the shower and hair on the bed stand. We cannot warm water in the room for the baby bottle so we had to go downstairs each time. There is no fridge, water kettle. This room is absolutely disgusting and we are horrified by the lack of hygiene. Here are pictures we took of the room. We will definitely not be coming back.
