Motel style but VERY small rooms, wifi only worked after assistance from concierge. Breakfast and parking excellent and nice grounds. Avoid upstairs rooms with only one small Velux window. Main problem was distance from centre of Compiegne.

Accueil très sympathique. Check out rapide et efficace. Petit mot dans la chambre en arrivant pour souhaiter la bienvenue.

Très bien accueillies, les repas étaient excellents, buffet du petit déjeuner compris. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas une proposition de plus de plats au restaurant ou au moins un changement de ceux ci.

Inexpensive and convenient

About an hour ahort of Paris, easy to find, not far from the motorway. Lots if food places nearby. Clean room and friendly.

Good clean room. Rooms are always a bit cramped but ok. Would love to be able t ll open the window. Rooms are very hot.

Great location adjacent to the forest and a nice park. Quiet rooms and walkable to transit. Solid reception area and the exterior of the property and grounds were well maintained. The rooms could use some attention and are nearing the need for remodel. My room had a very strong odor from someone previously smoking. My deadbolt lock would also not latch, but the area was quite safe.

Chose Campanile for a one night stay after having positive experiences with the same hotel in the different city previously. Was very disappointed with Campanille Compiegne. The place is old and the rooms very basic and run down. On the positive side, the service was good and the rooms facing the park are quiet.

Good for price

Having stayed in quite a few Campaniles, both in the UK and France, I had some idea what I was booking. The motel style accommodation was ideal for a solo traveller's one-night stopover, but probably little more. That said, it's in a quiet edge-of-town location and the on-site restaurant is ok too. Downsides: there was a drip of blood on the wall in the bathroom, which made me curious as to the overall cleanliness and hygiene. The sink and bath/shower were both severely blocked, such that they took several minutes to drain. The bed was comfortable though and there were ample sockets for chargers and suchlike. Would I stay again? Possibly. But I've stayed in better for the price.

Very disappointed. When we entered the 'office' to check in, the entire staff was standing there dripping sweat. I realize it was hot and there was no air condition listed. Would like to have tried their dinner but not willing to do so under those conditions. Trash around the property wasn't picked up. Beer bottles and more left in the cans. There was a signpost that had been cut off barely 2 inches from the ground and it was sticking up exposed.

Very handy stop just past Paris on the way north to Calais. Meal was v.good and service excellent. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, pity that there was no bar or restaurant close by.
