We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Great George Hotel in Charlottetown. The beautifully restored heritage buildings, comfortable accommodations, and warm Island hospitality made for a wonderful stay and great choice for my birthday trip! The location is perfect for exploring downtown Charlottetown on foot, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon treats were a lovely touch. We lol Forward to staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prince Edward Island.

Wonderful experience at this boutique hotel with modern amenities and old world charm. Staff extremely friendly. Deluxe continental breakfast with hot & cold options, including gluten free. The lady who runs the food service is welcoming and friendly...kudos to her for her winning personality, knowledge of the history of the property and her dedication to service...you can tell to enjoys people! Happy hour and the relaxing piano music in lounge area are nice touches. Rooms are spacious, beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. Only negative would be the thin paper products (toilet paper and tissue). Bathrobes were a welcome touch as weather was unseasonably cool. Overall, highly recommend and definitely would be repeat customers when back this way! Thank you all!

We liked that we were allowed to check in early. Room was clean and comfy. Unfortunately at breakfast they were out of many food items. Coffee was terrible

Wonderful property with lots of character

Beautiful old hotel right in the heart of the city. Comfortable lobby with complimentary cocktail hour. Breakfast in the lobby was lovely. Parking right on site. Our suite in a converted house behind the hotel was very large with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, etc.. We could have lived there. Wonderful restaurants nearby.

Beautiful old hotel right in the centre of town. We loved our suite which was huge. We did not realize the rooms were spread out over many nearby houses. Breakfast was light but lovely. They did have a little problem keeping everything replenished. Would definately stay here again.

Amazing place to stay while in Charlottetown.. easy (and free!) parking, lovely breakfast (included!) and nice extras like all day coffee, tea and cookies in the lobby. Various hotel rooms spread over numerous updated houses on the property, with friendly staff to quickly offer any assistance that their guests may require. Highly recommend!

The beds and pillows were perfect, the room was clean and it had two beautiful armchairs instead of only one which we really appreciated. The hotel and staff are exceptional. The breakfast is the best we’ve found at any other hotel. We have stayed there many times over the years and hope to have many more visits.

The hotel is very unique in design. Loved the happy hour and getting to know other guests. Breakfast every morning was a bonus. We had two issues while we were there. Our coffee machine didn’t work the first morning but was replaced. Our tv didn’t stream the hockey game so had to watch Montreal win on an iPad. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is an oder property and although most of the public rooms are fine perhaps a little more attention to the cleaning under furniture is needed. Our room was fine. The staff were excellent and breakfast was great. A welcome drink in the lounge was great and most of the guests mingled which made it fun. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The staff was very accommodating to getting us a room closer together for my sister and I. They were gracious and kind d and helped us by showing us the layout of the rooms. Well done everyone! We enjoyed your facilities and being on PEI! A beautiful hotel property.

Nice hotel.

Everything was great! The only feedback would be that the room need a good dusting as there was a lot of dust on the headboard, bathroo. Shevles, and the shelf with the wine glasses. Those areas looked like they hadnt been dusted in months

Extremely nice hotel in the hart of Charlottetown, with lovely rooms and a staff that matches the charm on the building. I would stay here again without question. Highly recommended.
