Big rooms, beautiful views and very friendly staff. Great prices too!

A really interesting place to stay. Lots of (good) character and a great view of the water.

We enjoyed the ocean view room. It was very clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel restaurant was also great and I look forward to trying the other amenities on site another time. I would definitely stay again!

The room was beautiful with an great view over the water. The sound transfer between rooms is poor. I could hear people talking beside me and below me late into the night.

Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful location. Was there off season during a storm so pretty quiet. Rooms are a bit outdated but not sure if it's just the unit I was in. Tiny desk in room to work on laptop, not much space, but the room was very big.

Well designed room loved it!

Staff were friendly and helpful, the history of painters was cool to see on the walls of the main building. We chose the room type because the photos online looked updated but the room we were in has not seen an update in a couple decades. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Painters Lodge! The view from our room was incredible, the property was peaceful, & the staff were friendly. The room we stayed in was a bit dated, but that didn’t negatively affect our stay.

We absolutely loved our room and the hotel and surrounding property plus truly appreciated the upgraded room! It is definitely a site to see on the inside and out. I think the only negative is the menu and food options. They need to work on the menu, food presentation and preparation. I think that it definitely needs some real improvements. Everything else was great!

Cozy, comfortable, relaxing and “oh - what a view” Even in the winter this is a great place to stay.

Definitely in need of some updating. Understaffed. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 430pm.

Clean accommodation, friendly and considerate staff. I grew up in England, and have had many plates of Fish and Chips in my life, however, very few have been as great as the 2 pieces of cod I enjoyed at Painter's Lodge bar/restaurant.

Beautiful rooms, the heat was turned on before we arrived so the room was nice and warm, a nice touch as it was very cold outside
