Listed a sauna but didn’t it only has steam room not both. Breakfast was average.

Booked this hotel 2 hours before arrival….. at a great price. I’m a firm believer you get what you pay for, but oh boy was we surprised. Free upgrade on arrival was a great start, free parking, the whole hotel only recently reopened after a full renovation all done to a great standard including rooms and amenities. Breakfast and evening meal were both of a high quality. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

We stayed overnight en route to Holyhead ferry. Amazing value. The property has clearly been modernised very effectively. Public spaces and guest rooms are stylish and clean. Rooms are soundproofed, comfy beds, quality linens. My kids thought we were arriving at a resort! Staff very friendly, great quality breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again, and for longer, especially at this price point.

Lovely first impression, beautiful entrance. Welcoming and informative staff. Free room upgrade (without asking!) very clean, attentive staff at all points. Pool facilities clean, plenty of lockers and changing space. Comfortable seating in bar area. Delicious breakfast (very good sausages). Would definitely return.

A great hotel for a stop en route to Scotland. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. We ate in the Bar area. Food was good. We didn’t use the leisure facilities. Only downside for us was there was no electric car charging facilities, but according to reception this may be a future addition.

Bit of a tired hotel, no air-con, no car chargers, bad signage - breakfast was a bit naff. Wouldn’t stay again

Hot tub was out of use. I have stayed here twice since it's reopened and it's lovely however on both occasions the food was bland and for the prices it was really disappointing. Restaurant in the evening has no atmosphere. Would not eat dinner again although breakfast is ok. Nice setting especially on dry sunny days and there are plenty if places to have a drink outside. Lounge bar lacks character. Bland. Staff are all fabulous and well trained

Bed was really un cormfortable . The food in the restaurant was theexact same as in the bar except £2 deraer for every item . Room was noisy and too hot - no air con . Really poor will not go again

Excellent all round. Reception Staff were just exceptional. Superlative even and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Not only a lovely place with lovely staff, the cost was great value also. I'd probably rate my stay at Daresbury as the best value for money hotel stay for decades.

Staff very rude no help at all . Lack of information when booking in . Don’t clean rooms daily unless you request it . I asked after the first night . Got told clean every 2 days . That was a lie my colleague stopped for 3 night . Not once did this room get cleaned .

Better than what I was expecting! Room was more spacious than what the pictures showed out to be. Only slight Downside was our bathroom door wouldn't shut but with it just being the 2 of us it wasn't an issue. Free breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about. For the amount I paid, I definitely think this is good value.

Love staying here. Rooms are clean and inviting, All staff are welcoming and can't do enough to help / support your stay. Hotel is also well located with easy access to main roads and motorway.
