As it was our first time in Agadir we didn't know what to expect.We had booked bed and breakfast so we could get out and about through the day and at night. The hotel chain.Barcelo,was familiar enough to us and seemed reasonably priced. We were greeted by a lovely lot of smiling welcoming faces at reception and the concierge service. unfortunately our room was not ready until near 4 pm so it was a bit if a wait. The room we had was ok. Comfy beds, Air Con not a thing when we were there not sure if it gets ramped up in hot weather? we were surprised to have been given all inclusive wrist bands.It was not mentioned it was an upgrade .We perhaps thought it an oversight? We did enjoy that part of things but generally we thought the food a bit same old same old? Not all food was hot at a buffet style restaurant area... we'd say the lunch seemed a little nicer than evening.Mist of the time was spent looking for cutlery and napkins! We had lunch out and had 4 evening meals outwith the hotel. it's not really an area with British pubs and restaurants so you still have to look about for the type of food you enjoy. Although looked like a few bars selling alcohol were close to the hotel all the music was more Arabic/Moroccan so it didn't really entice us to go in which was a bit disappointing ?Agadir isn't quite catering for Brits abroad just yet.The hotel entertainment was not something we tended to hang about for at night.Overall great to experience Agadir.

I was really disappointed with my stay. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, which made it uncomfortably hot throughout my visit. I reported the issue multiple times to the staff, but unfortunately nothing was done and I didn’t feel supported at all. On top of that, the food quality didn’t meet my expectations either. Overall, the experience fell short, and I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and improves both their service and facilities.

A bit of a hidden gem, as I went with reasonably low expectations as the price was excellent. First impressions are a bit deceptive, as parts of the building look dates and a little worse for wear - but don't judge this book by its cover. The room was excellent, the bed very comfy and spacious, the food was a highlight and I also appreciated how the mealtimes were so generous, allowing those with early starts for tours to comfortably enjoy breakfast, or returning late from a half day tour was also still possible to enjoy lunch until 2:30. Excellent staff, lots of variety of dishes with tonnes of vegetarian and gluten-free options. WiFi was stable and strong, and location was lovely. Highly recommended!

Thie Hotel is clean but decor is tired and outdate, Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily but we had problem with wash hand basin reported but never repaired. Internet access was good and bed was comfortable . We were all inclusive food was same every day . All hot dishes were luke warm or cold . Pool is way too small for for a hotel with this amount of guests .

Well impressed from check in to check out. All staff friendly and extremely helpful. Animation team worked hard with events on from morning until night. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The over riding memory was 2 nights without power, and a near indifference from the reception staff in dealing with it

It was a great stay, it was a bit stuffy at night. The resort could’ve provided a fan for a comfortable night, but they did not have any. It would be great if they could provide one when asked.

The room was dirty, especially the floors, which left our feet black from walking around. The sink and shower were also unclean, and despite asking daily, we never received basic toiletries like soap, shampoo, or conditioner. The balcony door was a safety concern, as it was jammed and wouldn’t lock properly, which was dangerous for children. The food was limited and questionable. I believe it may have made me unwell, though I can’t be sure, so we stopped eating at the hotel and went elsewhere. The pool rules were frustrating, only allowing kids to play with floats in the smallest, shallowest pool while the larger one stayed empty. Overall, the hotel felt run-down and didn’t match the photos we saw. I expected much more from our stay and hope these issues are addressed for future guests.

Friendly staff. Pretty clean resort. Rooms are comfortable , especially the beds. The breakfast needs to be better. They should have hash browns and standard baked beans. They should also have a better coffee machine as the coffee machine in the restaurant is really bad. Aside from that, it’s a good resort and I really enjoyed my stay. The entertainment group were great and very friendly too. The cleaning lady was also very friendly as were the reception staff. Please just sort out the breakfast. Lunch and dinner were really good.

The hotel was of a good overall standard and in an ideal location. Beds and bedding good quality. My only criticism was that the pool area, over which most of the rooms look, is very noisy, with both loud music and even louder, amplified entertainment staff. Fortunately there was a nice private area on the beach across the road to escape to, but forget going back to your room for a quiet siesta. Food okay but never hot enough. We were on B&B which was ideal as there is a good choice of restaurants close by.

Good hotel with very good food and really nice and helpful staff, easy access to the beach(5 minuts walk). Roms was ok but wasn't so clean, old fashioned, very old towels in our room, some rooms are in very noisy area.

Reception staff where not so helpful at times with assistance and dont have the best listening skills.

Very nice hotel, near the sea. Several pools with activities . They have amazing dining both breakfast and diner. Dr. Tawfik

We did the all inclusive option. Overall for the price it was a great stay! Staffs super friendly and helpful. They had entertainment throughout the day in the evening which was fun. All the staff were very kind and patient; the food was incredibly varied and to a very high standard. It's very close to the beach, but the pool was great for a splash and a few lengths. The locals are very warm too. I would highly recommend this resort.
