MJ's is a real gem in Malmö. The room was quiet and cosy and had everything we needed. The breakfast offering is extensive with many hot and cold options available - I also enjoyed the smoothies and juices. Staff were really helpful and knowledgable on the local area. 10/10, would recommend to a friend!

Best hotel in Malmö ! Cool location great and lovely vibe. Rooms in need of updating but overall very happy with our stay and we keep coming back.

This was my favourite hotel that I stayed out throughout my Sweden, Denmark and Iceland trip! The design is really cool and pretty, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was amazing. I went for dinner and the food was so delicious and the staff were so lovely. The breakfast buffet was also the best I’ve had - everything was super fresh and felt more like I was eating in a nice cafe. The options were extensive, the eggs were fluffy, they had healthy options like roasted carrots. They made their own juices and smoothies. They even had their own pate! The room was very comfortable and clean, I loved the decor and the option to stream from my phone to the tv. Highly recommend this hotel.

I've been staying in MJ's for many years. I love the atmosphere - very unique and amazing, great staff, fantastic breakfast - food and drinks and also the atmosphere (breakfast by candlelight). Really friendly staff, so helpful, I asked for a kettle to make tea in my room and got one immediately. Most rooms are very spacious and well heated (floor heating in the bathroom) and the windows can be open. Flamingos everywhere, I particularly liked the one in my bathroom. Bar is amazing, lots of cocktails and really nice wine, incredible atmosphere. The only downside was poor internet, but I managed a zoom meeting every morning, except I had to sit next to the door..... Hope to be back soon.

Lovely room Great cocktails Delicious breakfast. Omly stayed 1 night & weather was not great but hotel made up for it. Would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful space right downtown. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were detailed exquisitely.

Excellent Hotel, I think it is the best in Malmo. Room was small but I was alone...so no worries. Good Wifi Good SmartTV Very Discrete Cleaning, they are invisible. Amazing Reception and bar, Restaurant is great and so was the breakfast

We only stayed one night, I wish I could have stayed a week! Loved the bar and breakfast, and loves the hotel got into the spirit of Eurovision week. We had a blast!

We took a shower and the steam set off the fire alarms in the entire building, the front desk agent asked if we were smoking, it’s quite unfortunately, it took nearly 15-30 min for them to get alarms turned off. It made the night very difficult and our stay not great. We are hopeful for some accommodation financially. We stayed at Jacy’z a few days prior and it was quite lovely hence the reason for our choice of MJs.

I could not be happier with my time at MJ’s. My room was one of the most comfortable and cute I’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The staff could not have been more helpful (luggage storage, laundry, etc). And the breakfast buffet is on an entirely different level compared to most places. With many long days on my feet, it was so nice to begin each morning with a very filling and delicious breakfast. The proximity to the train station (and essentially everything in central Malmö) can not be beat. And it seems like the lobby at MJ’s may actually be the coolest bar in town. This hotel is pricey, but very worthwhile if you want to really treat yourself.

The staff were so lovely and they made it so special for our Eurovision trip. Would highly recommend!

Funky, shabby chic property. Disappointing experience at check-in: two rooms reserved, larger room given to single guest at lower rate than the room assigned the couple.

Great place to stay despite extremely loud music in the bar on Friday and Saturday nights until 1am. Our room was above the bar but luckily had good sound insulation so did not bother us as much as expected, just background beat.

It was just what we need to have a week in Malmo. There were a few things that were strange, but I won't say what that was here. It was a nice hotel.

Excellent location to train station, restaurants, & shipping. Rooms very small and hallways too dark. Tough to find someone at the front desk in the evenings.

Great staff, location, breakfast and vibe. Rooms are a little dated but beds and bath are fine. My only complaint is that trash collection every morning at 7AM was LOUD for my room, so ask if they have anything quieter.

Fantastic hotel, would stay again. The sauna is useless which is a shame. And the inability to control the air conditioning in the room is frustrating, especially during summer.

This is a attractive & quirky hotel but acknowledges itself as a party hotel that get lots & lots of complaints from guests about noise but management care to do nothing about it, they also care to do nothing about the loud foul mouth conversations between staff that could be heard by anyone in the bar/reception area. If you wish to have a pleasant and peaceful stay in Malmo do not stay at this hotel. We were due to stay 2 nights but moved to another hotel on the 2nd night due the noise, hotel management ultimately accepted the unacceptable level of noise experienced by us as guests and facilitated a move to another hotel.
