It’s an ok hotel. Buffet food is mediocre ( dinner was pretty good but breakfast could use some variety from day to day). The whole using the “water park” is very misleading everywhere says access but then they make you pay 60 euros (family of 4) to use it and it’s nothing special at all should just be included like other hotels cause it also makes the main pool incredibly busy. The beach is a public one so it gets incredibly busy also and it’s not very big (beautiful view) but lots of garbage in the water so kind of gross.

My daughter and I stayed here in July and it was a mad house. Very busy day and night, getting a pool chair was difficult and the person that checked us in was a bit rude. The hotel in general is nice and the location is convenient. The staff at the pool bar were also very kind so that was nice. I don’t think I would stay here again unless it was low season.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the city center and the marina, where you’ll find many great restaurants and tapas bars. The hotel was very clean, and the nearby beach was absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear turquoise water and soft white sand. Most of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, my experience with the restaurant staff could have been improved. At times, they seemed less approachable and did not always provide clear explanations when we had questions. With a bit more attentiveness and communication, the dining experience could be greatly enhanced. Despite that, I would still recommend this hotel for its excellent location, cleanliness, and beautiful surroundings.

Family friendly

The property is beautiful and well maintained, but I don’t feel that it is clear how much of a hotel it is for children and just how loud the children’s activities dominate nearly the entire property. There’s nowhere on the property that you don’t hear 2030 children at all times also the Cove and the waterfront is the worst for micro plastics of any new visited. You are literally swimming with watching trash float into people‘s mouth.

A nice hotel, in a great location not too far of a walk into the centre. We went on a couples trip, adult pool does get busy so you do need to get there before it opens to queue. Guests were offered a drink on check in (I saw on the day of check out) we were not offered any drink on check in. Rooms do not have irons and there wasn’t any available from reception for a few days. Found some of the staff to be abit rude

This property was amazing! The hotel was clean and more than what we were expecting! The staff were friendly and helpful! The amenities and food were great! There was parking on site for our car and super close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here. We will stay here again 100%

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2026. We thought the place was lovely with all you need for a stay with friends, partners or family. Shops, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. The hotel has several lovely and well maintained pools, and access to the beautiful cove - sun loungers on the cove are free. We really loved it here and are already looking to return.

Hotel was perfect for what we wanted, lovely spacious & clean room, having the beach right on our doorstep was great and great area as surrounding town had so much to offer.

hotel complex is just 100m from the sea. Great for families with small kids. Great dinner and breakfast. Large rooms with kitchen and lounge

Clean very nice place to go

Beautifully styled hotel, super clean, rooms were lovely, pool area lovely. Very modern, staff all very welcoming, The pool bar does the best Aperol Spritz and the food is awesome.

Refurbishment of hotel and room superb. Only problem lift not working , same in other blocks. Never saw anyonevtrying to fix them we with a baby in a pram in our party and on 3rd floor so hard work. Pools are cold even in Drago land, sea was warmer !! Entertainment very good. We have been on numerous occassiobs and updating of Esmeralda park is to a very high standard.

Clean room, housekeeping cleans and restocks room daily which was so nice to come back to! Beautiful resort, beach is very close and staff was extremely helpful! Parking can be tedious but it’s the way all over the island! They provided crib for us and the store right across the street has everything you need including some baby supplies!

Good clean room with a killer view.

Beautiful property, the beds were ok, not the most comfortable, everything else in the room was perfect other than having one day where our hot water wasn’t fully working. We knew this would be a family resort, and had adult only areas but the public beach and dining is full of other people with young children and it’s very busy and loud. I would come back if I bring my kids with me, otherwise, I would go with an adults only resort for a more relaxing experience.
