Clean and friendly

The rooms are nice but they have a tiny tv. The hotel is situated at top of a hill and to get down to local bus stop or market you have to be ware cause super damgerous. On expedia it says its 5 mn drive to Old town which is not the case. It takes minimum of 15 mn drive and over 49 with bus due to its many stops. At the bottom of the hill , you have Ornos beach which is very pretty with several reastaurants. Overall i thought it was overpriced for its location and what it offered. Their breakfast was decent.

Our stay at Mykonos Essence Hotel was wonderful! The staff were super friendly, the pool was great, and it’s just a 6-minute walk to Ornos Beach (a bit of a workout coming back uphill, but we didn’t mind!). Only downside — the lights on the A/C unit are really bright at night, so bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper. Aside from that, a great hotel and stay overall!

Loved being able to walk to the beach, you do have to go up a big hill and my partner and myself are young athletic people so keep this in mind if that’s why you choose this location! Close walk to grocery store. The room was very clean and comfortable! Staff was very kind and helpful and provide beach towels and pool towels! Would recommend!

Rooms a bit spartan, but clean, no chest of drawers or tea making facilities, power only one side of bed. Breakfast not that great, and we only ate there in the evening once, but nice pool area and great location for Ornos beach - which was wonderful. Had a great holiday overall.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean and accessible We had an early flight and the hotel made a nice box breakfast for our party.

We liked the hotel-clean, great location. 3 min to local beach. Drivable to any part of the island-in the middle of everything. Staff is amazing!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Super Housekeeper was great and always left our room super tidy in no time. Very convenient and close to the town centre. Definitely recommend and will be back.

This was the first stop on our Greece trip and it was a great first stop! Reception was so friendly and always provided great local insight. It was also awesome that they provided towels for us.The hotel restaurant and breakfast were so tasty! We last minute wanted to do an ATV for a day and reception called several different places and found us an available one! This hotel was in a great location close to Ornos beach!

We were quite disappointed with our stay in Mykonos Essence. The room we were in was dark and facilities in the room were sparse E.g. no kettle or coffee making facilities. There was a half eaten ice cream tub in our freezer compartment from a previous guest. Cleaning was not up to scratch. The pool area looks over the car park so the view is not great.

We experienced a VERY tragic air bnb experience when we got to mykonos. It was awful and we basically fled in the middle of the night. I booked our stay at Essence and within 10 minutes, Lamdrini the receptionist got us a transfer and he was there in two minutes. Since then, Lamdrini was our savior. She was the kindest, most knowledgeable, positive, wonderful ray of sunshine and catered to our EVERY need. We cannot say enough good things about her. This woman needs a raise. She truly went above and beyond for us every day. The hotel experience was incredible. Rooms were clean, comfortable. Shower was awesome. Wifi was A+. The location of this hotel could not be any better- short walk to food and the beach and bus stop. If we ever return to mykonos we will stay here hands down.

The reception staff were fantastic and gave us lots of good suggestions for what to do during our stay. They even organized a rental car to be dropped off at the hotel. Buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The location is a 3-5 minute walk from the beach with plenty of great restaurants nearby.

Amazing hotel and customer service! They accommodated my wife’s gluten free allergy for breakfast and the room was clean and location was perfect. They also helped setup special requests from a 24/7 whatsapp chat. Perfect spot!

Perfect stay from start to finish. Great staff. Good breakfast selection. Great check in. EXCELLENT service at breakfast. Great location. Fun staff always ready to answer questions. I'd go back any time in Mykonos. If i had one suggestion it would be to solar heat the pool
