The locality was good but the area around the hotel didn’t feel safe. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good, but they had put something on the strawberries at the breakfast buffe which tasted awful. All in all a good stay but overpriced for the amenities and quality.

This is a really nice hotel. The room was very clean. We were at the end of the hallway on the 8th floor and it was very quiet. I love that it is within walking distance to the T-Mobile Center and the Power and Light District. Literally the only complaint that we have is the toilet in room 830 needs to be updated. The lid on the back of the toilet doesn't fit well and the handle had been broken and really felt like it was going to break off in your hand when you used it. But other than that everything else was great from check in to the parking and checking out. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was within reach to great food and night-life. We really enjoyed the hotel, as well as the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice room, good location in the power and light district. Cool historic hotel with a great story and nice pub in the lobby. Friendly staff and clean room.

The facility is classy enough without being too fancy. It fits the whole Kansas City aesthetic, I think.

The stay was very disappointing. We got into the room and the walls were dirty there were stains on one of the bed frames there was yellow stains all over the shower curtains, there was absolutely no shampoo conditioner or body the toilet paper was not full. And the pipes knocked all night long keeping you awake.

Hotel room was nice, but could be a lot cleaner. Room needed a deep clean.

They put us in an adjoining room and just past 6 AM I woke up to a child screaming and laughing, and then had to listen to the parents’ fairly cleat conversation the rest of the morning. Also, thermostat is programmed to reset to 65° every time you leave so we were constantly fighting the cold. In some ways, a charming old hotel, but I had a better nights rest at hotels that cost about a third as much. Thanks Hilton

Not as advertised. Room was cold, awkward layout, and no door on the bedroom. There was an odd smell in the hotel, and other patrons were loud. Ended up letting the second night of the stay go, and found another hotel to finish out the trip. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Staff was friendly, location was great.....but the lack of a mini-fridge and microwave certainly was an issue. Room was quite small and outdated.
