We stayed for two weeks. The hotel was fine, but it is rather dated. This is the first time we’ve encountered a hotel charging extra to use the in-room safe – a basic amenity that is normally included anywhere in the world. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, place was clean, food excellent. Only thing to improve would be to warm the pool a little!

Rooms cleaned to high standard every day. Reception staff very helpful. All spoke English.

Great hotel. Superbly located with views directly onto the sea and only a short 15/20 min walk into town, great facilities, great service, brilliant breakfast even including bubbly. For us a perfect place for a mini break.

Comfortable hotel. Front of house staff very good. Secure parking. Pool area very good. Evening meal was ok but water & coffee not included ( it was free at breakfast!)

Vast majority of staff were friendly. Decor a bit dated, but was very clean. Good facilities such a gym, spa, pool. Nice views over the sea.

The outside area and swimming pool are fantastic and I know that other people go back to this hotel for that reason. It is gorgeous.

A clean, spacious room with lovely sheets and towels. Sunrise from my bed was a stunning addition. In fact the whole hotel has a spavious feel with large lobby and bar area. Don't expect up to the minute decor or music but more of a traditioal/older vibe, that said I love it as the sea view rooms are so tranquil and the pool always has a space and shade. It is not a place to see and be seen but is a truly relaxing holiday within walking distance of the centre full of restaurants and bars and a large supermarket on your doorstep. The spa is a great bonus too. I will be back!

The hotel was clean.staff friendly.

Even though it is outdated I did find it to be a relaxing enjoyable stay. I only had one major issue and that was the beds are rock hard. 2 nights of waking up with bad back pain. If they are going to update anything they should start there! Also, it’s a 20 minute walk to the port if you plan to take ferry.

A lovely quiet hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast selection. Drinks/cocktails are priced very reasonably. The pool is great and there’s a coastal walk around the corner. The hotel also las an ATM and 12pm checkout which we all are grateful for!

The food offering whilst well cooked was warm and in some instances cold!

Food/staff was great I just feel like it should be all inclusive I don’t think it’s right people should pay for every thing I think you guys should change it and make it all inclusive to be honest but other then that everything was amazing great I wouldn’t mind coming back!

Free parking, clean property, nice pool, friendly staff. Good value. Close to walk to the centre or beach.

The Grupotel was easily the best choice of hotel for us as a couple: quiet, but close to town, chilled but had things to do and didn’t feel very very busy. The pool and surrounds is very nice and comfortable with sun loungers all around. Only one day(of 7) was there an issue with people “reserving” beds with towels but not appearing for the entire day. The walk to town which is mentioned in lots of reviews is actually a short step into town.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff.nothing qas too much too much trouble. Food was superb and the spa and gym were brilliant. Beach view room was as described and spotlessly cleaned daily. Pool.was the best of any hotel we have stayed at. Would definately return.
