We found the housekeeping staff didn't want to do to much.

Good position to central Cairns and room was a good size. Had to move ironing board from wardrobe to be able to use the 4 hangers provided. No drawers to put clothing in for our 8 day stay. Room was not cleaned on a regular basis and we had to insist on fresh towels for each day. Reception staff were excellent.

Justin in the bar was great! A small table and chairs on the balcony would be nice to enjoy sitting outside the room

Having a gym for exercise ,seats and tables ar the bar and the staff were great,the bed was comfortable too.

Convenient location, lot of off street parking, although surprised to find out on arrival it cost $20/night, room needed general maintenance - one of the light bulbs in bathroom blown; toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Unless you are from a very cold region take your trackies as room very cold even with aircon off in room.

Had no issues at all a decent property

The property is not well maintained and lacks updating inside the individual rooms. I feel the cost was too high for what you get. I ordered twice for room service both times asking for ice with my drink, was not given the ice m. Finally I asked the waitress who said she would be back with ice. She never came back or let me know otherwise.

Frontdesk staff are nice, family room is a bit old showing signs of wear. Saw a rat running across the path on the main swimmung pool. In the end, averge hotel of choice family with reasonable price

Very basic amenities. No options for dinner and at least 15 mins from restaurants and market. Just an average budget option.

The room was on level 12 with a breathtaking view of the harbor. Very clean bedroom and the toilet. Big beds, clean sheets, kettle, tea and coffee. You can borrow for free special towels for the pool as well. Breakfast was quite rich with a variety of dishes, fruits, bakery , coffee, tea and juices. The hotel participates in an eco friendly and sustainable project- if u don’t want your room to be serviced, u will get $10 voucher for each day stay which can used in a bar or a restaurant. Great. We enjoyed the ice cream.

What's a great quiet room with magnificent views

Excellent buffet breakfast

I was surprised to find no food or drink available on Sunday. I am diabetic so have to be able to eat regularly .Being a si gle traveller walking around in the dark was daunting to find a restaurant that was open. The restaurant when open I felt rushed to both order and especially pay. I was asked three times how I was going to pay even before I ordered lunch and had to pay even before my meal arrived. I am not use to that style. I ordered a bottle of sparkling to come to my room. It was delivered unopened. As it required a bottle opener and the room did not supply them. I had to ask the girl to come back to open it.

Property is starting to show its age and is a little tired, however well maintained. Staff we friendly and service was good. Would suggest some updates to pool area to make it more accessible, did see some elderly guests struggling to get in and out of the pool as there is no hand rail.

Ordered room service very expensive burger that was burnt and even the chips were. Breakfast was better but a bit cold. The exterior of the whole place needs some maintenance. Also had trouble getting out of parking with the boom gate. Very frustrating.

Rooms good need toilet brushes in the bathroom

Lovely room and good location. Only stayed the one night, but would love to return for a longer stay.
