Great service in the bar and pub food quick and freshly cooked. Staff helpful all around the hotel

Good but Bar & Restaurant were quite expensive. Also, this was the first time i've ever had to pay extra to use the Gym & Swimming Pool at a Village Hotel. Nothing really within walking distance but you can walk to a bus stop nearby.

Modern large room excellent pool and gym Only let down was the bar, it was obviously under staffed with tables waiting to be cleaned and long waits for food to be served

Very good, attentive customer service was the stand out experience of our stay at Village Hotel Hull.

Didn't have breakfast to expensive. After checking in around 6pm & paying extra for the use of the gym & pool to be told we couldn't use it last night but could the following morning, I would noy have paid extra had I been told before hand. As for bedroom, plenty big enough but the cleanliness not up to my standard, the mattress protector was stained not nice

The staff was courteous, the breakfast was lovely, the room was comfortable and the amenities : the gym and pool, were superb! The on site Starbucks was icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hull.

Somebody it doesn’t feel as cozy now that it’s been refurbished but helpful staff, good facilities and good location for work.

Wasn't my first visit and knew it would be as good as ever. If anything, the Christmas dinner had improved, it seemed larger. Room was perfect, shower was huge and easy to use. I slept like a log. Excellent breakfast too.My only criticism is the location because I don't drive but that's on me, not the hotel.

Waited 15mins to be addressed by reception who was dealing with another guest. Once checked in, dropped off bags and came straight to the bar and ordered a meal. Meal itself was nice but waited over 20mins for my dessert before I called it a night and had to request for it to be removed from my bill. Rooms very basic, clean enough but you can hear neighbouring rooms especially from guests above walking around. Ok stay.
