I only had one dinner in the Greek restaurant but I felt the thickness of the pitta bread topped with chips before thin slithers of chicken just bulked the meal out and made you feel you were having something very unhealthy. Due to no air con and high temperatures the room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. There was a fan which helped to a degree. Could have been more generous with water, teas and milk although when I asked for more they immediately provided. But, the staff were all very friendly and helpful so 10/10!

Nice stay slept well good breakfast

Arrived at the hotel plenty of parking and checked in fine however as its an older property room was ok bit on the smaller side and due to period features the floor was not level etc and the room was quite stuffy. Could have done with more plugs and although their was water in the room it was on the warmer side so could have done with a fridge also. They kindly booked us a table at the hotel restaurant but when we got down for dinner the restaurant wasn't ready and although the food was good the limited staff were so busy as there was only 2 members manning the restaurant the bar and the hotel meant that service was slow. There was also no phone signal at the hotel so trying to book a taxi seemed impossible and with no one on the hotel desk to help to use a landline. Breakfast service was similar also 1 member of staff manaing breakfast and the hotel so meant slow service. It was comfortable enough and if staying the the area convenient for 1 night but wouldn't be in a rush to go back.

Beautiful old place with loads of character . Very clean and lots of parking . Had a lovely evening walk down to the river . Will definitely stay there again.

Cosy room. Clean bedding but the mattress sagged towards the middle which might have made 2 people sleeping in it uncomfortable

Parking was not easy. Didn’t try breakfast. Bed was to soft and dipped in the center

Bathroom not very clean. Couldn't drink the tap water and hairs on the bed.

Lovely country hotel, very cosy room

Had a warm welcome and check in. Staff are helpful and courteous. Everything you need is here. Room is simple but clean and tidy.

Full English breakfast good but the other offerings were somewhat meagre. Good coffee from a super macine. Room was ok, bed good but needs refurbishment. We weee in the annexe but the main building was empty - why?

Staff were nice. However, I stayed in one of the outhouse rooms
