The santana hotel is so well situated for the camino , and perfect for the end of a long day of walking. The massage I had there was wonderful.

Nice property however it needs updating

Very Good place to stay. Nice view of Rio Ave. With SPA. Short walk to city center. Perfect short break. 5 stars for all staff. Very approachable.

The food was excellent and natural. Excellent platters of cheeses and soups. They deliver it to your room which is so convenient especially when you are done with your camino and your legs are in pain so that was convenient. The pool is so amazing with the hot tub, I had some good rest.

Precisa de obras para ficar a valer as 4 estrelas, maioria das divisões estão velhas, carpetes dos quartos são velhas e pequeno almoço fraquinho, para o preço por noite, fica caro comparar o preço com a qualidade. Chão muito velho a volta da piscina e perigoso. De resto tem potencial para 5 estrelas com algum investimento , staff muito amável e prestável.

The hotel needs some investment to bring it back to the standard it was was. Unique position overlooking the river Ave and 15 minute walk to Metro station to Porto

An absolutely perfect Hotel in a great location short walk to local town. Th e Hotel facilities great with lovely pool and a very nice Restaurant that was very reasonably priced.

Friendly staff, but needs updating

This hotel is far from 4 stars and has seen better days. There was mould and moss in the pool area, broken floorboards in the hallway, cracks and peeling paint in the room, and more issues.

A nice place with modern fixtures and a nice breakfast. Dinner was excellent.

Good location close to the Coastal Camino. General facilities were good. My room had a couple of walk areas that looked wet from water leak. Room service did not make my room till after 4pm I asked the front desk to make it at 3pm and was waiting in their gym for it to be made. 4pm and it’s still not made. Quite unusual.

It was my second time in this hotel, and it still is as lovely as I remembered!

Great view over the city and the river. The hotel itself is interesting, but the rooms and corridors need to be refurbished. The room door was not opening properly, we had to shoulder push for it to open, and there were a few thing in the bathroom that were broken.

I was here for 15 nights on business. Considering the Covid-19 crisis, the hotel and staff has done well to provide a decent service. Thanks guys.

I like everything. Unfortunetly the period of my visit have a lot of turists and I prefer less people. But the rest all things are good.

Great location, lovely views and a short walk into the town centre. Staff friendly and helpful. Good facilities in a relaxing atmosphere.

The location is amazing (although a car is highly recommended) and the staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is ok (it has variety and acceptable quality), lunch could be better (I only had lunch once though) and the dinner was too expensive for me. About the room I stayed, there were a lot of stains on the carpet and ocasional unwanted dust but it was comfy and pleasant overall. The spa works as it was supposed to.

The hotel has not been maintained well.... dirty and stained carpets in the room, pilling off paint, dirty walls and windows, bathroom lock did not work and the mirror wasn’t clean. We had to get our own pillows from the closet since the bed was not prep-ed. I will never stay here again. This hotel doesn’t deserve to be 4stars. I wonder how they were able to keep the ratings based on current conditions. 2stars maybe.

The hotel does need some attention with little things like lightbulbs and switches etc but very clean and comfortable. Shame you have to wear a swimming cap in the pool and jacuzzi but this is probably same in most hotels out there. Breakfast was good and reception were really friendly and helpful.

The room had two single beds and a second double bed in an adjacent room. The single beds are perfect, really comfortable. There is a lovely view of the river and bridge from the room but no balcony and the window doesn't open which was disappointing. The bathroom was clean and had a powerful shower with toiletries, towels and water provided, and there was a fridge in the room. Breakfast is buffet style and large and highly recommended. The gym is small but good, but the pool requires you to but a swimming cap for 5 euros which is a big extra price for a free to use facility. They should hire them for free if required! The negatives: Our room had a lot of stains on the carpet throughout the room. The hallway leading to the room is really uneven which bulges throughout the carpet. There is no stairs to the reception only a very small, very hot and slow lift. A room 2 down from ours was playing really loud music after midnight so I complained to reception who were apologetic but didn't seem to do anything about it. Ps the hotel is up a large hill so some people may struggle to enter if walking.
