Tv would not work noisy shower was cold

Room was clean bed comfy shower over bath window was broken I reported it to reception 3 times nobody came the bar ok when it was open shut at 10.30 Saturday night and 10pm Sunday night no warning just put shutters down and he was gone breakfast was good plenty to choose from.

Stayed across the road from a club today blasted music all night and the club inside the hotel blasting music all night too. People yelling in and outside the hotel most of the night

Not the best hotel! Very noisy all night , full of drunk people, paper thin walls , beds not very comfortable, very hot in room windows wouldn’t stay open , wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience, whether it’s enjoying live music, good food, or socialising. They have everything covered.

The place looks lovely from the outside, unfortunately thats where it ends , inside it is old unloved and in need of decoration/ upgrades

Most things were not open on the Sunday only offered breakfast for one day. The room was basic but clean. The bar only took card and wasn’t much choice.

Nice room great breakfast checkin easy and free car parking

Being near the beach, plenty of night life and so can get pretty noisy especially on Fri/Sat nights.

Sue on reception was absolutely fantastic. My only other comment is that the hotel used to have a gym and swimming pool, but these were apparently closed during the pandemic but never reopened.

We have stayed at the Scarisbrick many times and know what to expect for the price , the hotel has been closed for a while which we thought was for refurbishment like the Prince of Wales also owned by Britannia inns . We found out that it was closed for plumbing work , still think there are major problems as we stayed in room 9 in one of the suites ,the corridor leading to the rooms stunk of drainage issues .We didn’t complain as we know what to expect and for 1 night we put up with it . The staff are always great , but it’s going to be The Prince of wales from now on .

3 night stay at this hotel. The room was warm, clean and spacious. Bedding and towels were plentiful. The hotel itself was a bit tired and worn but that didn't stop us from enjoying our stay 🙂

Had to park in the overspill carpark was abit tight to get into, hotel bit dated and old carpets but clean, room was spacuous bed not great very hard and uneven to lay on, only 1 pillow no spares in room, the heat in the rooms especially the bathroom was too much over bearing ...nice bathroom clean and modern .. breakfast was nice plenty of choice and all food was hot ... handy for a central stay in southport plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants all around shame the weather was too windy for the entertainment to go ahead outside the town hall

Car parking very poor trapped Room is great and clean But pillow not enough, unable to sleep. Good values English Breakfast is lovely, but sausage not nice tasty as too cheap.

Hotel was not busy. We wwre put in a disabled room. None of us our disabled. My husband is 6ft and the sink in bathroom was about 3ft high and bowl was tiny. Otherwise clean.

Noisy hotel, live music venues close by until 3 to 4 am

Horrendous sleep. The room was like a sauna. No windows either. No help from staff when asked about it
