The view was amazing from our room. The hotel is right on the beach at the Marina with only a small street between the hotel and the sand. The balcony was a good size and contained a table and two chairs so we could sit outside and look at the ocean. The free buffet breakfast was amazing! I have never seen anything like that for a free service. It had hot items such as bacon, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, etc. Plus toast, bagels, many types of fresh fruit including kiwi and watermelon plus fresh vegetables with dip. PLUS freshly baked Pastel de Nata and a few other Portuguese treats. The coffee machine supplied capuccinos and espresso. Overall just a fantastic breakfast setup. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, surrounded by restaurants and shops and bars and many Thai massage places.

Property could use a good cleaning and basic maintenance.

Beautiful room with lovely sea view. Spotlessly clean with friendly staff. Only issue pool was closed during our stay which we were only made aware of after booking. But still would highly recommend.

Staff was excellent. Room was nice but the controller for the temperature in the bedroom didn’t work and the middle of the night trash collection just outside and below the room was horrific loud.

The room was fine but the beds were super hard. Also, the bathroom had 2 sinks which left virtually no counter space. The breakfast was very nice.

Nice room, great view, friendly staff

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. There was a strong smell coming from what seemed like sewer pipes, and one of the sinks in the bathroom was broken. Additionally, the pool was advertised as heated, but all the windows were open and it was extremely cold, making it unusable. This was quite frustrating, as it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.

Very friendly staff, fast check in, clean rooms, excellent location, nice bar for late night drinks and snacks, excellent buffet breakfast with great variety.

During our stay the hotel lobby, restaurant areas were being painted during the day, which did result in dust in the air, noise at breakfast, and access difficult for those with mobility issues. We appreciate the efforts to reduce this but it was an issue for guests. One lift also out of action for the whole week.

We have a wonderful time at Hotel Baia . The location is excellent .Suggest staying in a room w sea view as the sunrise is absolutely beautiful . It’s easy to walk around the area and you will have many chances of taking beautiful pic The rooms are very basic but given the room price .. I think it is worth we paid it came w nice breakfast too 😀
