The hotel room is nice but the food in the restaurant is very small portion and very expensive

breakfast was enjoyable on the terrace. The staff are rushed and seem disinterested. rooms clean but I did not get the room I thought I had booked.

Lean and beautiful

Clean room, very helpful staff, good breakfast, very beautiful setting on the sea.

The property was just beautiful very neat and the views were amazing. It didn’t seem to be very close to anything at least not walkable. It would’ve been nice to have restaurants and shops nearby. But the scenery was absolutely amazing. The food was great and it was so clean. We enjoyed it very much.

The view is incredible and makes the visit to this hotel worthwhile. The rooms are dated. There are no plugs to charge a phone except in the restroom or unplugging a lamp or phone. The staff is not polite or cordial. They seem to be trying to make it through the day instead of helping us have a wonderful experience.

Hotel was in a beautiful setting on a cliff overlooking the Ionian Sea. Room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of patio space with sun beds by the large saltwater pool and attractive pool bar with extensive bar menu. Food was good. Staff were wonderful. Parking was gated and free - we were lucky to secure a spot as it was off season and one could not reserve in advance. Only criticism was that the hotel was a sprawling design and easy to get lost, and decor a bit dated.

Upgraded so was a lovely one night stay before flying off. Only criticism was sea was closed to swimming as red flag so beach area very limited scope to swim. Hotel appeared modern

The property was neat, clean and had beautiful views. 30 years ago it was probably very trendy place to stay. I’m also pretty sure European travelers are vert comfortable with it. For Americans it is a little challenging. Small but comfortable rooms and showers, lots of switches for lights and who knows what else. We couldn’t figure some out. Not many electrical outlets to plug in all our devices. A small humorous thing the phone was plugged into the outlet with a switch for the bedside lamp so lamp could only be turned off by unplugging it. Finally figured that out switched the plugs and used the phone outlet for other devices. Breakfast had a huge selection of pastries, eggs weren’t very warm selection of fruits were minimal, juices were extremely sweet.

Place felt a bit dated.

Beautiful location on the water. Great swimming pool and restaurants overlooking the ocean.

Liked the pool, the bar, the breakfast

This place fit our needs. Pros: parking, security, free breakfast, beautiful views, bed very comfortable and AC worked well. Cons: busy area, hotel out dated, pool closes too early. But highly recommend.

Great hotel

Great pool and view of the water. Room is average for the price. Restaurant is quite expensive, with very little options in the area for those on a budget. Construction was going on during our stay, with noise starting as early as 7am. Not sure if it is just the hotel or the area in general, but did not feel welcome as a foreigner. Would’ve been been better off staying in Catania to have better access to food options

Options for sea swimming was excellent

The hotel is old fashion, but beautiful..the property is kept in great condition by the never stopping staff. Cleaning ladies, waiting staff and reception staff in the first place. The majority of people seemed to be regular..coming every year probably for the last 30 years…families meeting for the summer there summer after summer…lots of tradition going. The view is astonishing. Only complain, being an Expedia customer, is that you get treated well, but definitely not the same way as regular customers. Breakfast is very generous and included with the booking and the waiting staff in there treat you with kindness even though they have never met you before. Can’t say the same about the bar staff, but I can understand it in a way. Beautiful hotel that I would highly recommend if you like to get changed 3 times a day to impress the other clientele. Sofa beds( where our son slept)need updating, but overall a magnificent hotel. Definitely worth its 4 stars.
