Run down tatty

Excellent hotel (English spoken). We opted for a deluxe double room with lake and golf course view. It had a lovely sunny balcony with chairs and table. The room itself was large and airy with desk, chairs, large settee and tea and coffee making facilities, large spacious bathroom with bath robes and shoes. The breakfast, too was excellent with a huge choice of hot and cold food and freshly squeezed orange juice. (Even as non-golfers) I would highly recommend this hotel. Tip: You pay (only) a little more for the very best rooms.

Lovely Hotel on Golf Complex. Rooms were excellent. Staff efficient but in the middle of nowhere so just the Hotel and Golf Club for entertainment

An excellent property with an outstanding/relaxing vibe, complete with pool and lounge chairs everywhere. The service was friendly and very competent, with several going far out of their way to be helpful. A real gem.

The reception staff were first class, efficient, friendly and chatty. The restaurant staff, however were dreadful. They could have been robots! No interaction at all - and certainly no smiling faces! The food, though, was first class and very reasonably priced. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay there again and would recommend it.

This is a beautiful hotel on a golf course. It is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is not within walking distance of any thing but only a 15 minute drive to beautiful beaches and towns.

Nicely renovated hotel overlooking the Emporda Golf course. Very good restaurant in club house.

The fact that the hotel accepts dogs is wonderful.

Clean, very friendly staff. Bed was very very firm for American standards. All the rooms have lovely balconies with views of the gold course. Would recommend it was a jumping off point for the area. However no other amenities near by. The hotel does have very good breakfast and dinner which we did use while staying there.

Family stayed for 1 night, had secured a booking of 2 rooms, 1 twin and 1 King. When we checked in they gave us 2 twin rooms..and stated they couldn’t give us the king...they stated they didn’t get that booking information, evenhough I showed them my booking on my hotels.com app! This was disappointing...don’t know whether it was a failure on their side or Hotels.com side. I pushed for some comeback (they weren’t offering anything initially!) and they threw in access to the spa which she said was worth €15 each. The spa was nice...(small indoor pool, jacuzzi,sauna,steam room,massage rooms) ....has a v small gym (2 cardio machines, 4 weight machines, no free weights)...dinner at the restaurant that night was v good ...drinks at the bar afterwards were expensive.. Had nice brunch in the restaurant beside the golf course before we left, good meal choices there. Outdoor pool looks nice - although it was out of service when we were there. It’s a few miles from the beach but no issue really as you’d need a car to get there in the first place.

Friendly and efficient staff, most of whom spoke reasonable English. Room clean and comfortable with balcony with very pleasant views over golf course and distant mountains. Very good dining facilities. Have stayed before and would be happy to use again.

Charming staff. Beautiful and simple building at the clubhouse of a very impressive course. Room spacious, subtle decor and excellent bed. Nothing more required. Excellent dining facilities at reasonable prices with charming staff. Will use again.

Lovely hotel in a great location for discovering the local area. There is so much to discover from beaches, pine clad coves, local history and historic villages. We have been returning to the hotel for ten years each July and the standards have never dropped. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. You need a car to stay here.

We have been retuning to the hotel since 2008 which speaks for itself. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast choices. Great location for discovering the local area.
