We checked into the hotel. Where I have booked 2 queen and 1 pull out. There was already some person in it when I opened the door. Went and told front desk and switched us rooms instead. They gave us a "family room" which consisted of 1 king and 2 single beds. They gave me a single foldable cushion. Although front desk said they upgraded my room which was definitely not an upgrade. Space was too small. One of my grandchildren slept on the floor...which was definitely "NOT ok" Very disappointed 😞

Had 3 rooms with double beds booked for 3 months. Got there and only two were available. Was offered an “upgrade” to a suite, but the suite had a king bed and couch sofa, not really an upgrade. Outside of that, great stay.

Terrible noise problem in the room that kept me awake. Staff was not accommodating in moving me to a new room.

The location was good many stores and restaurants were walking distance so easy to get things. The room was clean and the maintenance people were quick when informed about a small issue

Shower was dirty and old, mildew present in several spots. Air conditioner was noticeably loud and only really cooled off the master bedroom not the twin bed portion of the room.

Comfortable bed, room was clean, mini fridge is appreciated. Smooth check in, easy parking, great location for Highway 1 access.

We had a wonderful experience at the Sandman Calgary South. The hotel was clean & modern and the staff was incredibly welcoming as soon as we entered the door. We had a wonderful stay and will be sure to stay again the next time we pass through Calgary.

I ordered the extended cancelation policy. When they cancelled yung blud the thursday before my trip I wasnt able to canvmcell my hotel, even after getting the extended cancelled policy.

We wished the hot tub worked

We enjoyed our experience. Staff was very helpful. Pool was a very nice and the exercise room was adequate. Our room had a king sized bed in one room with a pocket door and my kids each had a twin bed, so very comfortable and roomy. The rooms are updated but not the greatest quality unfortunately, but clean and simple. They were understaffed for stampede, though, as we asked for a room refreshing during our stay of four days but they couldn’t accommodate on the day we asked.

It was very nice place to stay. Pub and Denny’s was attached so that was very nice. Best hot wings we have had for a while. We couldn’t be happier with everything

Unfortunately a mix up with the room furniture meant our room for 5 adults and 2 children didn't have a pull out sofa bed meaning the first night despite paying for that 3rd adult we only had a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. As the 3rd adult decided not to join us for the 1st night it was fine but as they were fully booked it could quite easily not have been. On the 2nd day we were advised to reach out to the day shift front desk to sort out the issue which we duely did. The plan was for us to pack up the room to be moved but as they didn't know where to, we left our luggage in the room to be moved whilst we were out for the day. On arrival back we were told our 3rd adult would be given a room to herself as no other options. We were in the same room. Great! Problem solved! However... No one had told the housekeeping staff as on arrival back in the room it was as we left it, bedding stripped, wet towels awaiting collection on the bathroom floor and glasses/mugs used still dirty. I contacted front desk and we received fresh bedding and towels but as housekeeping gone for the day, we were making the beds up ourselves. No problem but I'd rather not do this on my holiday 😢. No offer of help from staff. Despite all this, most of the staff were lovely and the rooms were great. A suggestion is to add a mirror above the desk instead of art so I could sit whilst drying my hair and putting on my makeup. Pool was good. Nice hotel and loved the stampede decor getting us in the mood!
