We were staying in a room with 2 queen beds. They had been doing updates on a room down the hall from us with drills early in the morning and the paint they used was extremely pungent in smell, to the point of a headache. The cleanliness was ok, they don't wash the floors of the rooms. Which is odd because its been so much rain these few days. The drainage in the shower was horrible and you would be showering with lots of water building up in the shower and God knows the condition or cleanliness of the sewage pipes itself. There was a mildew type smell when we first arrived as well. We found drain flies in our room from the sink which comes from stagnant water and built up of soap scum and bacteria. The shower soap itself seems watered down and same with the shampoo. The bed sheets had stains on them from day 1 and the walls are paper thin, you can hear people plugging in their devices into the wall. There is no sign for being quiet after a certain time so we hear people hanging out in the hallways being loud, yelling etc.. some nights were hard to sleep. The window didn't really shut completely so the noise from the street was noticeably loud. The breakfast options were decent and delicious for the most part I wouldn't recommend eating there in the evening, there are much better options in the area for price, quality and service. Now for the staff. Not all the staff were friendly. There are just a handful of them that are truly polite and sincere.

Bathroom could use remodeling. Old outdated shower. Otherwise, clean room, excellent housekeeping. Very, very overall experience. Second stay here at Fontan, will stay here again.

Great staff and super nice

Love the location its a simple hotel But very classy with its decor. Easy to get around hot spots . Will Definitely stay there again . Also staff was very friendly and no room Issues at all

My overall stay at the hotel was enjoyable, and I appreciated the hospitality. The buffet offered a nice variety, though I believe there is an opportunity to enhance it further. For instance, the waffles I tried were quite hard in texture, which made them less enjoyable. With a bit more attention to freshness and consistency, the buffet could be an excellent highlight of the stay.

While I understand I was in a different country, I do not feel the value of this hotel matched the room. Continuously asked for extra towels to have enough for the people in the room. Very basic coffee with no sugar no cream nothing to stir with. Sheets kept coming off because they were flat sheets on the bed not tucked. Cade opened late and my son went one night to purchase an açaí bowl which they said they didn’t know how to make even though it was on the menu. Pillows def the worst I have experienced. Just overall value was not there but location was good so I suppose that is what we paid for. I’d stay again but only if nothing else available to try as it wasn’t bad just could have been better.

Very nice hotel, excellent location, superb rooftop option, very nice staff, surprisingly, no noise whatsoever from the main street, the water purificator in the hall for cold and hot water is an amazing touch and benefit! Things we didn't like: Only one hanger for a towel in the bathroom - annoying and would be so easy to fix. We had a room in the 5th floor with a view to an ugly concrete wall. The floor in the room is cheap plastic. Very poor noise isolation from the hallway.
