This is an incredible property for gophers. The grounds have a pond that is private and natural with fish. The golf course is vast and beautiful. There is a state of the art spa., and, all is affordable.

Pool is $60 per visit and breakfast has no variety, no fruits, no omelets and usual eggs variety. Squeezed orange juice is excellent for breakfast and property is nice.

The staff could not have been more friendly I highly recommend the chateaubriand suite / room14. Breakfast let’s it down a little I’d expect more from such a beautiful hotel.

If you are looking for a haven to escape from the hustle and bustle of Paris, then look no further. This charming converted Chateau was exactly what my husband and I needed. The rooms were spacious and the bath luxurious. The restaurant was superb. We cannot recommend the egg dish more highly. These were the best eggs that either my husband, or I have ever tried. We loved it so much, we asked for a second serving of this appetizer. The staff are attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great place but a little bit isolated. No grocery stores in walking distance. All supplies had to be bought on the restaurant.

Stayed in a 'traditional room' and were not told that this would not be in the Chateau but in an annexe a long way in the rain to the hotel. No umbrella's supplied in the room. No kettle for tea/coffee in the room - very poor for an upmarket hotel. Staff all very helpful.

We were thoroughly impressed with this hotel. The chateau has a moat! The grounds are beautiful and there are plenty of hotel rooms inside the actual chateau (often, when staying in a chateau, the hotel rooms are in a modernly built, boring annex that disappoints). We stayed in the family apartments which were in a beautiful old building right next to the main chateau building, but we were not disappointed. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the children loved the idea of staying at a real palace. There is an excellent spa (although one does need to pay for use of the spa), and also a chocolate shop (the chocolates were awesome!). We ate dinner at the extremely elegantly appointed restaurant, with our children. Although our children were extremely well behaved in the restaurant, we were nervous that the staff might not appreciate having children in a very grown-up space. To our great relief, we found the waiters to be extremely accommodating towards our children, and the head waiter arranged for the chef to prepare some delicious "child-friendly" food for them. My husband and I were then able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the delicious cuisine. Be warned though - this is not an environment for boisterous children, as some decorum is required. A wonderful, authentic Chateau Stay!

We only stopped for one night on our way through France. It is one of the most beautiful places - little river just by the chateau, vast areas of meadows and trees turned now into a golf course. Superb.

Spent one night in mid July at this beautiful, hard to find chateau. Check in staff very pleasant. Dinner at the chateau was an insult. Never received wine list, had to request water refills. After an hour, we asked about our entrée and were told the chef was starting it. A definite snub to Americans. Asked for ice in our room. Never came. Would not recommend to anyone.

Stayed for only one night on our way south. What a beautiful place! Lovely paneled bar and diningroom. Wonderful grounds which are mostly a golf course and so not wander-able. Room we had was inn an annex and was very well appointed. Walked thru the little town of Augerville in the morning. Very enjoyable.

My wife and I spent two nights at Chateau d'Augerville and enjoyed it very much. Hotel room was spacious and comfortable, service was excellent, and the restaurant was good. We also tried the golf course which we liked very much, although our round was suspended after 11 holes due to rain. We definitely would return--it was very good in all respects.

If you play golf, this place is idyllic. I don't but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spectacular and the food in the restaurant is wonderful. The only downside was that, whilst the golf course is lovely, you can't access it unless you are playing golf. This means that an after dinner stroll is strictly out of bounds.
