We loved this property. It was nestled on a hill overlooking Cork and had lovely views from both of its beautiful bar and eating areas. Our room was one of the more modest rooms but was lovely. It was clean comfortable and had a great bathroom and shower. They also left a small bottle of wine for us to enjoy on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The parking was easy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in their main restaurant at night and the food and wine was very nice. We also loved our pre and post dinner drinks on the balcony. They had a concierge that took our bags to our room which was also helpful. This is an exceptional hotel in a place you may not expect. It was such a lovely surprise to us and we would definitely recommend this property.

The staff greeting you at arrival was phenomenal! Ken was attentive and made sure all information for check-in was provided. He also made recommendations of a few local pubs to visit. The only complaint we had was the parking. Even tough it is gated there was no spots available when we arrived back from dinner one night.

Common areas and terrace were lovely with great views. The food was pretty good if a bit overpriced. We stayed in the residences and they are in need of a significant upgrade. Our apartment had no cold water - to the point the toilet was flushing with warm/hot water. Water pressure in general was appalling. We stayed during a hot period and there was no a/c, so the apartment was far too hot. We had two fans in our room but only two sockets throughout the room, so couldn’t use them and put anything on to charge.

A beautiful stay in a beautiful city!! Clean, welcoming and perfectly situated. Whether looking for a a private retreat or a walkable stay close to the city centre, this is the place to stay!

Excellent hotel with very comfortable rooms, fair pricing and friendly, professional staff. The only downside is the location is on a hill so some may find the walk there and back into the city difficult.

We stayed in an apartment. It was very spacious and had a washer/dryer, which was great… after we figured it out! We enjoyed the terrace for drinks and appr and had breakfast twice. All enjoyable. We didn’t use any of the spa /gym facilities, as we were there to see Cork and the surrounding region. Walking down to the center was doable… but we used the taxi to go back up that hill after walking all day in the places we visited. Cork was a great place to use as a base, we traveled to Cobh, Middleton, Mogeely and Kinsalefrom Cork Center.

Having the kitchen and washer/dryer in the apartment was incredibly helpful. Wish there was a shop closer to grab a few small things. The walk back from town is manageable but not having to go all th way into town would be a big difference.

We had a great time on the terrace and everything was aesthetically pleasing. We were put in rooms that felt outdated and unfortunately there was a persistent noise that kept us awake from 4am and on.

Beautiful property and EXCELLENT staff

A fantastic hotel with truly wonderful staff that go above and beyond in being welcoming and helpful. The hotel, the accommodations and the staff just really brought Cork to life for us. One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland was staying here. Great views of the city and the river. walking distance to anything. Breakfast was amazing as was the outside bar.

Great Hotel, close enough to walk to several area attractions, pubs, and food locations. Clean, and beautiful gardens on the property.

Location was great for us. The view from the terrace lounge was stunning. We experienced a newly remodeled suite which were lovely. One comment is there was not enough counter space or hooks in the bathroom. We enjoyed our visit!

Lovely staff and great location and views of Cork. Room was decent but a bit dated and tired around the edges. Wait service in the restaurant was often somewhat slow. Otherwise a great stay.

When we arrived, the hotel had no record of our booking. We booked on the day, but for 270 euros for a room, it was disappointing to arrive to no room and to the confusion. Jess at reception handled it very well and was very helpful. She organised a different room, an apartment, which was pretty basic and was missing the hotel room feel. She was very apologetic and offered us complimentay drinks (2). The bar staff were lovely, but we had to wait about 20 minutes to be served.
