Great stay. Clean place. Quite.

Room is comfortable, staff is friendly and sauna is the best

Our stay was perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. Hotel location is excellent. Pool reasonable size with a wirpool in one corner. Wet and dry steem rooms. Stuff speaks a few languages. Drinking water is available in here and there. We didn't take breakfast. Cannot comment on it. Room is spacious, we'll equipped with the kettle and minibar. We glad we found best stay for our money

Didnt have any food/drink here but was happy with the barman who kindly gave us a jug of milk for our cuppas (we bought cream by mistake). Room was a good size with all we needed for our stay. I only ga e 4 stars as the smell of stale cigarette smoke was awful in the room. We kept the windows open most of the time but i think smoking may have been allowed at one time (not now) and maybe its just 'there' on the carpets, furnishings etc.

Stayed for 3 nights, the only issue we came across was we booked for 2 adults and a child. There was only a large double bed however no single bed for the child. When I enquired about the bed i was infomed it was an extra 17 euros per night for an extra bed. The hotel was nice, i skipped the bar and restaurant as it was generally empty and you are in the main old town with cheaper prices and better food options for vegitarians. Overall it was a nice clean and functional.

Rooms are a bit dated and require a bit of renovation. However, I guess the price compensates for this. Convenient location, but you can find a bit better deal elsewhere.

Excellent location, clean room with good service.

Not sure why there are some poor reviews for this hotel, we had a junior suite for not much more than a standard room and it was great! Spacious- comfortable bed nice and warm in the cold winter and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good and the pool is 10meters long so not bad for indoor. (decor is traditional) but we really enjoyed our stay and breakfast was excellent too! Also in a great location.

The place has redeeming features but the overall impression is one of a tired hotel that desperately needs a refurb. I will start with the best points. The location is fantastic and, without doubt, the best thing about it. The staff are very friendly, the cleaning staff do a good job and the beds are comfortable enough. I can't comment on the pool or spa because I didn't use them. Everything else required improvement. The breakfast consisted of a large buffet with the usual options. It was all edible but not great quality and the coffee was mediocre at best and out of a machine. The first room we were offered reeked of old, stale carpet to such an extent that we asked to change rooms. We were then shown four more, which all smelled the same to a greater or lesser extent. We settled on the least offensive for one night, with a promise that we would be given a better room for the remainder of the stay. The room that we were then given was exactly the same, leading me to believe that every room in this hotel smells of dirty carpet. The new room also had an extra peculiarity, in that the plug socket by the bed would only work if one of the other lights was on, meaning that I couldn't charge my phone by the bed. That seemed pretty basic. The restaurant and bar at the front entrance of the hotel were permanently empty, which spoke for itself. All in all, the hotel was bearable but not 4-star by any stretch of the imagination and we won't stay here again.
