Breakfast was basic. Could have had better cereal. Also coffee maker not working. Staff very sweet and made espressos. Parking free right in front. Rooms very quiet.

Secure parking for out motorbikes and easy walk into town, a good value hotel in a great location.

Room was fine - good size Bed was comfortable Was only in Vitre for 1 night as used as a stop over for Normandy beaches Great restaurant L’Artisan - great meal If you like McDonalds there is one close by for breakfast

Very clean, nice bar area. Practical from the parking. I did not like : employee was not smiling, She grimaced when I asked if I could have a cup with hot water. Parking is not free. It's very hard to find a space outside so I had to be dropped by my husband to go in the lobby and ask for how to get into parking. Not explained properly in property description

Good location in the centre of town with free on road parking. Secure covered parking within the hotel avaliable at a cost. Took a while to be greated at reception however as the hotel was quiet not a problem. Nice ambience in the reception/lounge/bar/dining area.Room was clean & comfortable. Had a buffet breakfast with sufficient choice of foods. All in all a pleasant night stop

Very pleased with the hotel and very friendly helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean and airy and the communal areas, particularly the hall were very attractive. Breakfast was excellent and good value and there was even a bar! This was our first trip to Vitre and we lived it. Will definitely return.

Hotel was efficient, clean and staff were helpful. We brought bikes and had no issues storing them securely underground. Room was quiet and shower powerful.

We booked this hotel as on the map and by its very name we expected it to be in the centre and therefore close to all amenities. It was not. The hotel is a good 10-15 minutes walk for those of us who don't move too quickly. We therefore felt we had no option but to eat at the hotel. There was only one member of staff evident that evening and she was manning reception, the bar and dealing with the preparation and serving of food and clearing of tables/taking orders. She was run ragged poor lady but coped with her heavy work-load with a smile. The food was clearly all microwaved, including a pizza, and was grossly over-priced for what we were offered. The caramelised pork that I had was decidedly unpleasant. We had no wi-fi reception throughout our stay which left us unable to make essential communication with several people. Parking at the hotel is only available at a cost of €6 per day. A very disappointing stay and not to be recommended.

Great budget hotel in a good town for a stopover on the way to (or back) the Ferries. Vitre has a relaxed vibe, plenty of restaurants and as an added bonus - a castle which you can look round for free.

staff were really friendly, my French is limited, but they were all English speaking and SO helpful! hotel was slightly out to the old town - which was convenient, and within 5 mins to the train station for trips to renne and laval. rooms were great, VERY clean and quiet. I stayed 4 days but could have easily booked a week, which i will be doing next year. As a single middle aged lady it is sometimes a little daunting to travel, but the hotel was safe, in a good area, and the staff friendly and helpful with local knowledge.

Booked this hotel at the last minute due to having our car broken in to as this hotel has very secure underground parking. Staff very friendly. Rooms very comfortable.

Good location for centre of town. Needed more towels as two are not enough for a couple. First floor room overlooked by car park could have done with some privacy at the windows without blocking out the light.
