Staff very friendly and helpful. Good good. Bed a little uncomfortable. Pool nice and quiet in the daytime. Duvet very lumpy and no filling in areas so got a little cold in the night. Cracks in the bathroom basin.

Second stay here, and I look forward to returning. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Excellent leisure facilities and a overall great place to stay!

We chose this hotel as we wanted a quiet night away not too far from home and away from the busy tourist areas and it didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to judge a place on a quiet weeknight in November but we had a lovely stay. The room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Dinner was great even if very quiet but to be expected this time of the year. Breakfast was freshly cooked and a large range of things in the buffet. Plenty of fresh coffee offered at regular intervals. All the staff we met were so nice and friendly and professional. As I have worked in hotels and most recently as a housekeeper I notice any little things that are often overlooked but I was fully relaxed and everywhere was clean and tidy and there was nothing that would put me off from going there again.

Lovely comfortable room, only issue was the TV wouldn't turn off or volume turn down so was on all night on my first nights stay. Reception sorted it next day for me.food and service were very good. Would definitely visit again.

Pleasant staff and helpful, great location, plenty of places to visit. Need a little refreshment for the rooms and building, otherwise great accommodation. Definitely recommend.

Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Over the two nights we stay we eat both evenings and throughly enjoyed the food. The staff where very polite and helpfull with anything that they where asked. Will definantly stay again in the future.

We often choose to stay at the Damson Dene because of the delicious food, it brings us back - bravo Stefano, consistency of super menu choices, really tasty and well presented food. Service always excellent too, staff make this place !

The food and drinks are amazing. The view is beautiful. The grounds are small but very beautiful with a pond that a lot of ducks live. The rooms are clean tidy and comfy. The reception has an open fire which smells amazing staff are very welcoming.

Great overnight stay in splendid surroundings. Cheeky little ducks are a nice touch in the restaurant outside the windows. Lovely.

Lovely hotel with really friendly staff. The property and grounds are well kept and the food was delicious.

Reception staff great, evening restaurant staff very courteous and attentive, morning breakfast staff could do with an attitude reset - very abrasive and guests seemed to be an inconvenience, especially when disrupting whatever was holding their attention on their mobiles (the server with the bleach blonde hair in particular). Room very comfortable.
