Free undercover parking. Great position on the beach and lovely rooms with washer and dryer which is super handy!

We had a great stay. The area is very quiet. There's a great cafe restaurant directly across the street and the patio of the cafe faces the sea. Every Saturday there's live music from 3-6pm. The bus runs runs right in front of the complex so it's easy to get to Smithfield mall in less than 15 minutes on the 120 bus or Cairns Central Shopping Center where you can find groceries at Coles or Woolworths. We really liked the apartment. The sofa and bed were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay again.

The resort could use some upgrades in the living room furniture and air-conditioning. They also should ensure there’s enough toilet paper in the room before they arrive. We only had a partial roll of toilet paper so we informed them. They said they’d bring it to us the next day and never brought it. It only has a/c in the bedroom so the rest of the place doesn’t get the full effect of the a/c cooling system.

Beach across the street from the property is really nice but does not have chairs or umbrellas for rent so you'll need to bring your own. Also plan on bringing your own beach towels.

Staff, girl at counter was very nice to us. pool was great.

Checking in was easy, however the wifi didn't work. The air conditioning was in the bedroom only not the whole unit. There was no oven in the unit as indicated

We enjoyed our stay here. As we had a longer stay and from interstate would have been good if when they did the refresh they replenished the Tea and Coffee etc. Also wifi was always dropping out and I used a lot of my data on my phone to watch Netflix, etc.

Needs a massive renovation, it’s smelly, dirty, beds so uncomfortable and the pillows ! It’s very out dated. It’s absolutely NOT a four star! Wouldn’t recommend! Not going back!

Location at Hollaways Beach was the best

2 Day R&R stay en route to Brisbane is in an ideal location for the beautiful beach, great pool at the property. Our apartment was spotlessly clean although the 3 flights of stairs with our luggage was a bit of a pain. Easy late check in and Ruby the next day at the desk was super helpful. WiFi was awful but they are upgrading it and some smells from other people’s cooking but no real complaints. A 10am check out was a bit too early for us compared to other properties like this we use.

Appreciated the early check that was great. I wouldn’t call the place a resort more a complex with some lovely apartments in desperate need of major maintenance it could be a beautiful place apartments owned individually and run by hotel management. Cleanliness was not the best and things were falling apart or not working in the apartment. One side of couch had a horrible smell wasn’t nice to sit there. No lifts so we were glad we were on the bottom floor even though we paid extra for an ocean view that really as t there. Pool area was lovely our little girl loved it. Overall it was good just in need of some TlC. Perth WA

Great bed, pool is wonderful

Floors were bit sticky. Property is way far from main area in Cairns. Try to find something closer to downtown even if you have a car. No front desk service after 5:00p.m. Best part about the property is a privacy. You have a bedroom. And a sofa couch in main room area along with kitchen. Just one bathroom. So not at all a bed choice if you are a family of 4 and needs more space as long as you are ok to drive.

The place was beautiful as it had an amazing garden which had a plethora of plant life that added to the peaceful atmosphere. The pool was clean and well maintained. The beach was opposite the property which was convenient. The room furnishing was old and the bathroom could use an upgrade. We stayed in the premium garden facing room. But overall it was a good stay.

Good location, right on beach. Unfortunately very noisy with trucks loaded with rocks coming past every 10 mins due to beach erosion work. Should calm down once job complete. Unit could do with a freshen up. No oven or d/w but rest of kichen ok. Management very good.

Property was clean and quiet overlooking the pool. Kitchen was well stocked with all facilities needed except an oven. King size bed was like sleeping on the floor but I guess that would be the case as we are used to sleeping on a waterbed.
