The L’Empire Hotel is wonderfully located just behind the Louvre, with walking access to many interests in Paris. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of amenities, but that’s OK since you’ll only be sleeping there. After breakfast you can set out for the day. The staff at L’Empire is wonderful and will make you feel welcome and at home.

Absolutely the perfect spot to stay for first time travellers to Paris! The staff are all so willing to assist in anything you might need. Check in was easy, we even got an upgrade as this was an anniversary trip. The room and beds were so comfortable, housekeeping was perfect. We signed up for the breakfast each day and loved it. One day we had to leave before breakfast was served, and they packed us a little box with pastries and fruit and yogurt to take away with us, just a nice extra little touch. One morning we had difficulty understanding a French speaking Uber driver and the front desk person kindly stepped in to assist. Umbrellas were handy at the front door for us to use on a drizzly morning. Every single staff person we encountered was beyond helpful and kind, we can’t wait to stay here again.

Great room , breakfast , staff & location

Very happy with our stay 4 night stay at this quint boutique hotel. From check in to check out we had a wonderful stay. Sonya at reception is the most welcoming and helpful receptionist I have ever meet. She toured our room, showed us where everything was and was there to assist in anyway reasonablely possible and made some excellent local restaurant recommendations. We had room 613, below street level, view of a small garden court. At first I was put off but soon realized the silence was worth the street view. The bed was very comfortable and room was spacious and well appointed. A little heads up, filtered water is complementary but you will want to refill your water yourself at the bar. Nico there, was alwas happy to serve, providing fresh filtered water and extra coffee for our room. The location of this hotel for tourist is fantastic. A short walk to the Louvre and Notra Dame and bus and subway stops are quick and short. We love the convenience of Paris public transportation system. A great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Hotel was in the heart of the city, walking distance from the Louvre. Rooms were small, but my family and I enjoyed our stay, thoroughly!

The accommodations were wonderful. The staff was exceptional. We were welcomed by the manager as soon as we arrived. She helped us througout our stay with suggestions and answers to our questions. The breakfast staff and room attendant were wonderful, as well. We had a wonderful week.

Great location. Close to many attractions

L'Empire is at an excellent location to walk to the Louvre and the Metro and other sites nearby. Taxi or rideshare can get to it just fine for those options as well. The room we were in was large and comfortable, with a king bed and roll out bed for our teenager. There was a tub shower and a regular shower and bathroom had plenty of space too. Breakfast was included and had great food and good options. Staff was amazing, spoke English well and were super helpful giving us some tips and organizing a taxi when our rideshare to the airport ditched us. There are MANY dining options within very short walking distance and the "mall" with less expensive stores is just down the street. We went to Maxi there to get an extra suitcase for the return trip home. Overall A+ and would certainly book here again on a future trip.

My room was big, very clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff was superb--so friendly and helpful. It is in a great location, a 5 minute walk from the Louvre.

Nice staff great location

Location is excellent. Breakfast is always the same. We stayed for 8 days, few changed. The worst is the heating system. Air condition doesn’t work well. There is an oil or water heating system in bathroom. It makes big bump every hour. I understand the property is old building at such a good location.

All around cleanliness, friendly staff, great breakfast. Spacious and very comfortable room. Hotel is excellently located. 100% recommended.

L'Empire is a wonderful property, from the rooms to the staff everything could not be any better. We booked the two connecting rooms on the 5th floor and the way they were laid out we basically had a nice little two-room apartment. Location wise, it's a 2 minute walk to Pont Neuf, easy walk to the Louvre, and across the street from Samaritaine. Several metro lines are within spitting distance, connecting you to everything Paris has to offer. The staff were wonderful, tolerating my horrible attempts at French and offering insightful advice to enjoying the city. It was a fantastic end to our Christmas Market adventures in Germany and France. Can't wait to go back.
