I am actually reluctant to post reviews for this amazing place in case it gets super popular haha We have stayed here a few times already and it has always been fantastic. Rooms have all been refurbished and modernised and are always thoroughly clean as well. The deluxe rooms are on par with much more expensive hotels. The location is perfect. It’s super easy to get into and out of and is central to the city, the valley, Southbank and north and south Brisbane suburbs. Parking is free and easy. There is a guest kitchen which is always spotless and such a great addition. Means you can make meals and save some money if staying for longer. The deluxe rooms have kitchenettes as well. The guest laundry is cheap and easy to use as well. There is a little library. The pool is great as well. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. It feels like staying at an aunty’s house almost. Each time I have asked for early or late check out it has always been approved without any issues at all. Honestly such a little gem of a place that ticks every box while still being so affordable. Highly recommend.

We cannot give City Star Lodge enough praise, amazing place to stay for the amount you pay and in a brilliant location. We would give the lovely staff more than 5 stars if we could !! They went above and beyond for us during our stay which made us feel right at home and looked after. We would highly recommend and will 100% be back

One of the better affordable hotels I’ve been to in Brisbane, traveling with three friends hostels shot up in price so we went to City Star Lodge for an affordable bed for a night. Anyu was amazing upon arrival and even let us store our backpacks before we could check in. Once we checked in we were pleasantly impressed with the cleanliness and size of the room we got (family room). Sheets were white, floor was clean, counters were spotless and even a few whiskey glasses to have a drink. We brought our beverages with us but needed some ice and there was no ice machine but Anyu found us two travels full of ice to keep our drinks cool

Very nice, good value place to stay. Everything was clean and modern. The room was nice, parking was easy and it was just a short walk to the city cat and food. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I had a fantastic stay with my 2 kids at this motel. I called up about our early arrival time and the friendly reception lady was able to accomodate an early check in. The room was immaculately clean - beds were so comfortable with big, fluffy doonas. I also loved the kitchen facilities and tap purified water to refill drink bottles. Location is central & we could walk down to Southbank. A very comfortable and easy stay - thank you for having us!
