Staff very friendly. Hotel spotless

We absolutely loved this hotel. Its is a 5-10 minute walk from Saronno station which takes you directly into central Milan. The hotel is beautiful, very clean however the restaurant was not amazing in my opinion. That may just be me being picky however they didn’t do any pasta just pizzas and some meats. There are a few nice places in Saronno to eat, we visited in early March and it was very quiet. The breakfast was so lovely! Lots of different breads, a toaster, a variety of fruits, pastries, juices, meats, cheeses and hot sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. Lots of different types of yoghurt, and sweet treats! The pool was so lovely, nice and warm, on the top floor however the sauna and the steam was not working but this may have been due to the season. I really cannot praise this hotel enough, the staff are wonderful and the bar is great! Cocktails for €10 and snacks such as toasties for cheap also! I would definitely visit again!

Clean room

I stayed at Stathotels Grand Milan for the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games 2026. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre and was an ideal location because there is a train station near to the hotel with good transport links. After a long day of sightseeing and attending Olympic Games events, it was nice to come back to the hotel and relax in there beautiful spa and rooftop swimming pool. The hotel also has a gym, sauna and steam room. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast and the staff are courteous and always willing to help. Outstanding experience!

The rooms are nice, breakfast has lots of options, the bar is average but the gym is horrible..

Lovely hotel in a lovely little town with close easy train connections to Milan and northern Italy. Great staff, rooms and breakfast. Saronno itself a very pleasant short break destination, with a range of cafés and restraunts, hope to repeat the experience.

Really far from Milan city center although the station is a short walk few mins easy to use the metro trains The hotel it self is excellent had everything I needed for the night stay Clean comfortable

Property was lovely. Staff were excellent, particularly in the restaurant. Food was excellent. Very close to train station which was essential getting to Monza for Grand Prix and Milan

Would have liked the sauna wellness open for longer. TV didnt work in room. Overall though this was lovely Hotel with great links to Milan and beyond.
