What a lovely stay in York! The staff was amazing and so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this lovely boutique hotel cheers!

Tony and his staff were brilliant. Walkable. Outstanding breakfast. Gated off street parking in the heart of the city. Book direct through the hotel and parking/breakfast are gratis. You will not find a better deal or a more professional and friendly staff. Thx Tony.

A gem of a place very central and within walking distance of everything. staff so polite and helpful. Could not have wished for better!

A lovely, cosy friendly hotel in an excellent location in York. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable & the tea and biscuits in the room very welcome & delicious. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Did not feel it was crntral to other hotels i have stayed at Did not like putting laundry and rubbish outside the bedroom door Shower cubicle was very small

One was left to their own devices. Coffee tea, etc was left at the door every day and anything else needed towels, toiletries just ring reception. Excellent ideas and should be adopted at other hotels. Complete privacy for the clients. Great stay will return. Perfect!

We had a wonderful one night stay. The staff excellent courteus and friendly . Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The hotel is in a great location for me as I have difficulty walking and walked easily ro the Minster. I recommend this property

The hotel itself was lovely but the bed was quite uncomfortable so neither myself or my husband had a good nights sleep. Also the shower was dripping intermittently throughout the night and there was mould on the ceiling and in the grout in the bathroom.

Hotels.com let me go through the process of booking and paying, took my money, then on the confirmation email told me that check in past 8pm was not possible, the booking was made at 11pm. I will be following this up. Shocking system, ive had to pay twice for the same room as the hotel needed payment on arrival due to the computer system

Short walk into the centre of the beautiful city. Car parking is a real plus. The staff are brilliant and the breakfast superb.

If you stay here expecting an 'ultra modern' experience with modern trappings, then this is not the venue. BUT if you are looking for a traditional small town England experience, then it is perfect. The property is well kept, clean and the staff is extraordinary.

Brilliant stay at the Minster hotel. Excellent location, we were able to walk to all attractions including the National Railway mueum. The Minster is just up the road and it's a short walk right into the city centre. Lots of good pubs and restaurants nearby. We used the Fat Badger, the Minster Inn (fantastic pizza and real ale), Cote Brasserie and the Star Inn the City which has a great terrace overlooking the river and excellent food. The breakfast af the hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Amazing breakfast and super friendly servers!

The room was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was diverse with hot and cold options and we were served promptly. The hotel was walking distance from the shops and attractions. We slept very comfortably and conveniently parked at the hotel. I was really impressed with the hotel and would stay again when I stay in York for a visit.
