Overall it was a decent price for all inclusive option. The quality of food and drinks were not top tier. The airquality in the room not the best. Generally it was a decent experience on a budget

We had a great time! It was a girls' trip for the family, and the resort had all the amenities we needed. The beach was very well kept, no sign of all the seaweed others were talking about. Our rooms were well-maintained and cleaned. The service was incredible! Gustavo at the swim-up bar and Antonio by the beach were so friendly and accommodating. The app was very helpful for making reservations and scheduling many events and activities. The nightly shows were so impressive, especially the Michael Jackson tribute! The buffet was meh, but I don't usually expect too much from that. We dined at the Teppanyaki, Italian, and Mexican restaurants. The Italian was my favorite. I loved the spacious lobby and the plenty of lounge seating.

Room was nice but the mattress was worn. Staff was excellent, kept our room clean and stocked the fridge daily.

Caribbean dinner was very good. Lots of snack options available throughout the day which was nice as well. The only annoyance were the multitude of raccoons throughout the property in the evenings and at night.

Food selection at buffet was limited and pretty much exactly the same for lunch and dinner. There is nowhere to get special coffee for early risers as the coffee shop doesn’t open until 8am. Reservations for specialty restaurants could be opened earlier since you couldn’t book any until 10am the day of and you can only reserve one each day.

We enjoyed our stay! Our beach vacation was perfect because of the excellent staff at Ocean Coral & Torquesa. They truly go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best. We will definitely consider returning in the future!

Restaurant reservation system stinks. Availability of loungers at pools is inadequate. Staff is excellent. Resort did a poor job of clearing seaweed from the beach. Food in buffet and restaurants was very good. Our room was very nice with excellent housekeeping.

Staff were friendly and the resort felt safe, but several advertised amenities were far more restricted than expected, which significantly impacted our stay as a family. Most restaurants require same-day reservations made at 10am, with many first available seatings after 9pm. Several dining options are adults-only or limited to certain guest tiers, and the buffet did not open until after 6:30pm. Pool seating and towels were often difficult to obtain, and the beach was not very clean. Rooms were clean but dated. Positives included helpful staff throughout the resort, a fun kids pool, excellent kids club staff, coffee shop, ice cream parlour, gym, bowling, and strong photographers (photos are expensive). Location is convenient at ~30 minutes from the airport. Overall, while the staff were kind and there are nice features, the dining and amenity access limitations are important to understand in advance—especially for families with young children.

Our family of four had an excellent stay at Hotel Ocean Coral & Turquesa in January 2026. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the privilege upgrade. Sebastian offered outstanding service. The terrasse of the lounge was great for breakfast and lunch. The waiters of the lounge were professional, attentive and friendly. Many pools to choose from. Great personnel at the bars.

Our room was very clean and well stocked with towels, pillows and stocked beverages in the refrigerator. The staff was very helpful and friendly! The many specialty restaurants and buffet restaurant were all amazing. The nightly entertainment was great! We would definitely consider booking at Ocean Coral & Turquesa again. Maybe next year! 😎

The resort is spotless. We especially liked how large the lobby bar area was. Service was good and food was ok. Buffet was repetitive and you have to make reservations exactly at 10am to have the chance to make a booking.

As a person with a gluten intolerance it was very challenging to eat in the buffet. Our room air conditioner didn’t work well and our clothes felt wet. The shower did not drain well and the water was never hot. Very disappointed.

This resort is awesome! It was our first time here and overall we had a great experience. The food was good with lots of restaurant options, and every staff member we encountered was kind and helpful. My one complaint, and I heard quite a few others mention this as well.. was that the pool was very cold. On days when it’s extremely hot (30°C+), I could see how the temperature would probably be fine, but during the week we stayed it was only around 25–27°C and the water felt freezing. We overheard numerous people talking about it throughout our stay, so I don’t think we were the only ones who felt this way. It would be great if the pool temperature could be adjusted based on the weather. But honestly that wasn’t even a huge deal for us, we still really enjoyed our time and will likely be back!

We enjoyed our stay despite the sun hiding behind the clouds a lot during the week we booked! Our room was always made up nicely by the staff and mini bar stocked. We really enjoyed all the selection of food at the Casa del Mar buffet and chose to eat the majority of our meals there. Mike’s coffee shop was a real treat and staff were pleasant. We loved having cookies in addition to other pastries ! The property was clean and we could see staff tending to the maintenance of the resort. We loved seeing the crocodiles behind the fenced in swamp area too ! Ocean front was quite littered which was disappointing to see and we heard from people swimming that there were sharp rocks and one swimmer brought in a broken bottle to shore. We did not swim in ocean due to these conditions. We missed having an infinity pool with a nice view as there have been at other resorts on the strip. The biggest let down was the fact that guests are placing towels on lounger chairs earlier than when towel service is even open and not occupying their chairs for hours afterwards, but holding them so others who wish to enjoy a lounger cannot if you did not awake prior to 7 am to hold a chair! Could there be a system devised to try to improve this ? A minor complaint I had with the online booking was that I had written a special instruction to NOT have a main floor room , and we were given a main floor room. Overall , we had a nice stay.
