Very good location

My reservation was paid in full, but they charged me a Colombian resident tax, even though I’m a tourist and showed them my visa. I went to the Colombian migration and they spoke to Sofia and explained the law to her and confirmed that having a Colombian tourist visa is an official legal document that exempt me from the tax, but the manager Laura is an arrogant, ignorant, stubborn and doesn’t respect the law. Even after I showed her my tourist visa, the law and talked with the migration official, she refuses to admit her mistake and stole the money from me. I have never encountered a person like her and never had any problems at any property anywhere in the world, I traveled all around the world twice in one year, Canada, the US, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Turkey, UAE, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Brazil, Aruba, and more visited other countries and countless cities, i never wrote a bad review but this one stands out and clearly deserve the negative review with minus stars. If anyone is planning to stay at this place and they are a tourist, don’t fall for her scam and pay the tax.

They booked us two suites but were not able to provide as each floor has only 1 suite. It was difficult for my family of 6 to coordinate

Nice breakfast.

All the time i stayed the properly have water issues. Overall building is in poor condition. Customer service lies about lead time for repair issue. I see mold inside the restroom. Food at the buffet is no fresh and some fruits the already started decomposition process.

It’s a very nice area. Quiet. Safe. There are many on-site, restaurants and stores and shops. I like this part of town because it’s quiet and laid-back. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bedding is excellent. The staff is usually bilingual and can speak English. The breakfast is excellent. This is one of my favorite places to stay in Medellin. It’s a very walkable area.

Excellent service, attention, and breakfast. The food was varied despite not changing daily. However, the accessibility of the accessible room was disappointing. Upon arrival, the reserved accessible room was unavailable, forcing us into a room that was not ADA compliant. While the staff's efforts to remove the bathroom door were commendable, it was insufficient to address the significant accessibility issues. The lack of adequate space for wheelchair maneuverability, the inaccessibility of the sink and toilet, and the absence of a usable shower made our stay frustrating and inconvenient. The subsequent accessible room, while more spacious, still had several ADA compliance issues: Sink: The sink faucet was small and the stopper prevented the person in a wheelchair from easily opening and closing the faucet, as well as washing their hands or brushing their teeth. This style of sink is simply not adequate. Toilet: It did not have the necessary measurements for the person in a wheelchair to be able to position themselves in an "L" shape to easily transfer from the chair to the toilet. Grab Bars: There should be a vertical grab bar that allows the person to grab higher (beyond the horizontal bars). The installed grab bars should extend beyond the toilet so that the person in a wheelchair can grab them. Either they change the toilet to a smaller one or lengthen the grab bars. Shower: There was no chair or wall for the person with a disability to bathe easily.
