Four star hotel with a 1 star Manager !! Wow what a shock this was !! Being an owner of an apartment on the resort my belief of the whole place was A1, however my time this week involved staying at hotel for 4 nights before reverting back to my apartment was in absolute shock at the lack pf professionalism and understanding of customers by teh "manager" to which if im honest led to a confrontation however was villified by onlookers who in turn told the manager that his actions were disgraceful !! Needless to say that whilst the hotel was nice, overall staff was excellent the "Manager" needs to realise that he is in the "hospitality" industry and that his voice and shouting does not earn any resoect of customers... I would say that Ona Hotels need to read this and take note..I am more than happy to discuss tthis directly however feel justified to air my opinion as the manger is not open to "talking" with paying guests !

Great location for the golf course which was great to play on. The room we stayed in was a little worn and could do with an upgrade especially the bathroom which had taps held together with tape, faulty lighting and faulty toilet flush. The breakfast was also not great as the hot food was always on the cold side. We did however have an ok break but the hotel itself in my opinion was not a 5 star experience more a 3 star one which was just ok for us.

Hotel location is stunning. Reception can be a little slow at times. Showers at pool not all working and some broken beds. pillows need to be replaced as they are very worn and too soft. Clubhouse service can be slow due to understaffing. spa area is beautiful and a lovely treatment although a little pricey. complimentary water on arrival nice touch.

It was a fantastic stay, staff lovely and the area is amazing with a great breakfast.

We’ve stayed at Ona Mar Menor hotel a couple of times previously. The hotel is really well run and has all the amenities you would expect. The staff are great and the pool is gorgeous. We did have an issue with our room with an air conditioning system that really didn’t cool the room down, but when we raised our dissatisfaction we were offered another room without any fuss - great customer service! The hotel is starting to feel a little tired and could do with some TLC, but otherwise a fantastic base for our short break.

Pool area fantastic. Overall had a great holiday.
