If you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not for you. But if you want a clean and comfortable place to stay that is affordable, you can’t beat it. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed!

Amerigo and his family were so extremely welcoming to me, and made me feel at home. Amerigo even picked me up when I was lost finding the hotel, and drove me to the ferry when I left. They made me feel very safe and welcome as a solo female traveler. The sea balcony was beautiful, and you can have your breakfast on the water. Walkable to the town centre, with a beach on the way. I will definitely return when I get a chance to come back to Forio.

Americo and his family were very nice and attentive, he gave us a lift to Negombo thermal park, made some calls to a local boat rental company and offered to take me and my family to the port at the end of our stayed. Just keep in mind that the hotel is 30 min walking from forio port

We booked this stay last minute while in Italy, the views from our balcony were incredible. The transfers to forio and all around helped fill our stay with incredible memories. We got info of things to do and what buses to take, which helped us get around the island. When I got sick the whole family helped us out and we are tremendously appreciative! The food at the restaurant below the hotel was delicious. We felt safe and well taken care of, this place is a gem and made our Ischia vacation an absolute dream experience.

Amerigo and all the other staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which made our time in Ischia all the better. It is away from the main town, but it’s worth it for the amazing views we had from our terrace. Amerigo helped us understand the local buses and offered lifts into Forio if we needed one. The restaurant next door was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel!

A family run hotel. Pool area was nice with lovely views. Delicious food at family restaurant at the end of the short driveway. Giuseppe was one of the most hardworking people we've met. He was so helpful and attentive to his guests, Thank you Giuseppe for all the lifts.

Hotel located in a quiet area up in the hills. The owners Giuseppe and Kelly made our stay a happy and enjoyable. The went out of their way to make up feel very welcomed and even driving us to places that we wanted to visit. We definitely come back to the same Hotel.

Thank you for Colella family hospitality We had a very pleasant, relaxing and fun time at the hotel. We especially liked gorgeous view, a pool and hot tubes at the outside area. We got a big, clean and comfortable room with a terrace. Giuseppe was very helpful in terms of transport and advice on food content (Our daughter has food allergy). We miss already the place and would like to return again.

Stayed last year and returned with friends, it didn't disappoint us or friends. The hotel is out of the town centre but has fantastic views of Forio bay. The owners (Colella family) can't do enough for you, nothing is any trouble, from giving lifts to and from places, as well as providing lunches when staying by the small pool area. Guiseppe and his wife Kelly along with Tina (Guiseppe's mother) also operate a restaurant just 1 minute walk down from the hotel, called La Casereccia, fantastic food and service and frequented by locals from all over Ischia. Will certainly be going back!

The best choice and would certainly return to this hotel. Giuseppe! the owner was extremely welcoming and sought to make us as comfortable as possible. We were met at the port and were also offered complimentary lifts to and from the town centre each day, Giuseppe even went as far as to drive us to The Poseidon Natural Park one morning.

Just returned from a two week holiday at the Hotel, the owners Giuseppe and Kelly made us feel very welcome upon arrival, the rooms and pool area's are set up a steep bank and gives lovely view of Forio and the coastline. Continental breakfast's are served in the large restaurant with some outside seating at the bottom of the steep bank. The restaurant called "La Caserrechie" offers excellent food at reasonable prices and is often busy and frequented by locals. The staff are very attentive and polite and speak good English.With the Hotel being about 1 mile out of Forio town centre the hotels mini bus will drop you off and pick you up at suitable times, local buses also operate and are not expensive. A very relaxing and enjoyable experience which we intend to do again, soon! The owners and staff really make this Hotel.

Giuseppe and his wife Kelly were most welcoming and helpful, collecting me when lost and offering lifts to Forio and helpful advice. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The terrace had great views and I enjoyed sitting out there at night looking at the stars and fireflies! It was lovely to be surrounded by nature. Their restaurant only 100m away served some excellent food and the staff were all very nice. I certainly hope to have the opportunity to be a guest again. Thank you.

Wonderful place that is family run. Very helpful and when we said we wanted to rent a car they just lent us their own personal car.

Afte you trudge the hill to your accommodation from reception, you realise the effort was well worth it. The view from room veranda was spectacular. From the family who run the hotel to the staff in the restaurant we received the best of service and have to mention Lorenzo's chocolate souflee which is the best ever. Roberto and Enzo looked after us with friendliness and fervour despite the occasional language differences. Overall would definitely recommend hotel but be warned as hill is not for the fainthearted and anyone with breathing difficulties or disablement should be warned. Island is beautiful and lots of different cultural and leisure facilities to fill your days from gardens to beaches and thermal spas. Travelling to these sights though a little more difficult if you depend on the buses. Don't in any way be fooled by the timetables and expect to stand and discover you've stepped on the wrong bus AGAIN. Weather superb but look out for the mosquitos.
