Very confusing as to what is all inclusive. Some drinks are & some are not, same with the pools. The bars & restaurants are not open many hours. No activities offered. Food was the same each dinner & breakfast. There was very little meat in any of the dishes. Seemed like we were eating leftovers. The employees at the concierge desk & bellmen were very friendly & helpful. Others did not not seem happy at all.

My husband and I came here for our 2 year anniversary and I just have to stay that this resort is beyond beautiful. The food in the Olive restaurant was fantastic and offered many options! Both pools are extremely clean and well kept, they were cold only because we came at a little bit of a colder time. The all inclusive option was very nice and I think necessary for a relaxing vacation. We had a wonderful experience with Royal Rentals in the hotel lobby and go to experience Crete by car which was honestly one of our favorite days! I would highly recommend staying here and plan to come back!

The resort is amazing and well designed with easy access everywhere and most rooms blessed with fantastic see views. Easy access to fantastic sandy beach with clear waters. All waiters, kitchen staff , chefs and managers are amazing. We were soo impressed with all kitchen staff, waiters and those responsible for replenishments alike, with their high professionalism, helpfulness, kindness and for their permanent smiley faces. The restaurants are so well run, with personal touches, such as managers pouring and serving sparkling vine to customers, freshly baked breads, and fantastic food with great variety. Can’t fault them on anything. Great spa and again brilliant staff. The only negative was a selfish next door couple who checked in at midnight and started drinking complementary bottle of vine, shouting and moving furniture until I told them to stop. Maybe staff should serve complimentary bottle of vine to customers the following day if they check in after 10pm and tell to be considerate.

Very impressive resort with beautiful views from every room! Check-in was easy, requested late check out, and that was absolutely no problem at no charge. From housekeeping to waiters and waitresses, groundskeepers, maintenance personnel, resort staff, and front desk, the service was exceptional! We will definitely be back! Nice hotel, laidback and quiet.

Really great place to relax

The location and the view is beautiful. The hotel is very old and the staff is unfriendly also the bed is really bad. Overall we had very bad experience and its not worth the price comparing to other options.

Superb property, with all amenities (outdoor swimming pools, tennis, basketball, gym, kids club, spa with indoor pool, bars and restaurants), in a stunning environment just by the see, with access to a sand beach

We had an excellent week, the resort was very clean and modern with excellent restaurants and bars. The pools and beach were great as was the spar. Rooms very spacious, modern and clean. We found the resort to be in a good location foe venturing out.

Extraordinary hotel. Relaxing and comfortable

Bathroom was small and poorly designed. Room itself was also poorly designed with too little storage/closet space

On our honeymoon, a lovely welcome in the room, a bottle of local sparkling wine a some macarons and flowers and petals on the bed. The room was a little bit tired, the air con leaked a bit and made the fllor wet. The silicone round the sink was missing in some places. Overall we had a wonderful 10 night stay. The bar staff we friendly and welcoming, especially Antoneta and the yojng lady with the long. Blonde hair. Maria on the breakfast team was also lovely and friendly. Went to beach every day, very clean and sea very clear. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The Ikaros Beach is in my opinion by far the best hotel in the region. The complex is very upmarket and the resort is well planned out. We spent the October half term holiday here and it was everything we hoped for, relaxing, and quiet. If you wanted to venture further afield this isn’t the place for you at this time of year unless you hire a car, as the rest of the surrounding area was closed or closing for the winter. However the resort was so good this wasn’t a problem for us. Would definitely go back.

Lovely grounds and public facilities/restaurants. Room was lacking the quality and comfort I expected from a 5 star hotel.

The Ikaros Beach Hotel is a fantastic place to stay... beautiful stone architecture throughout comfortable rooms along the coast, incredible food and wonderful staff! Our sons loved the large waves at the beach while we were here in July. Kids club was great too!

The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, clean offering excellent dining options. Great views from pools, restaurants, rooms. It caters for every type of holidays and the little town near by is much more quiet and quaint than Malia ( crazy party town ) All is great there but the staff...I can't count how many issues we had with people that obviously need training. From day one till our last hour it has been very unpleasant. All issues sorted by higher staff management at some point but still this has left us a bitter memory. Lots of stress discussing issues and barely any apologies while trying to sort them out. It was always our fault and making us feel guilty saying they should be home by now or would have to pay themselves if bill not settled?! Not sure what kind of customer service is that. There's a mistake fine let's sort it out but don't pressure the client and put all blame on them when we were more than happy to pay what was due. Same at the restaurant some very nice and kind people, few were not very warming, feeling a bit embarrassed sometimes. I hope they improve on this matter as Greece is well known for its hospitality and this was the first time I encountered such a bad reception team for a hotel of this standard. I believe they aim to offer the best we just got unlucky..

We have just spent a week in late Oct / early Nov at the Ikaros resort, and had one of our best holidays ever. The resort was spotless, the staff welcoming and friendly, and the food and drink top class. The facilities cannot be faulted an we would not hesitate to recommend.

It's just great resort. The location is great. The facilities are wonderful. We were a couple on vacation and first when I've seeing the kid guests I thought it would be noisy. But The resort is very well planned - it felt like not crowded at all. There were plools for kids and just great SPA for adults. It has 4 or 5 restaurants on the territory of the resort - so you don't need (or actually you don't want) to go anywhere else. There's a direct access to the sea with good sand beach. Everything is clean and well maintained. The SPA is fabulous and almost empty. The hot sauna with a great view on mountains There are plenty facilities for kids - like kindergargden, special pool with water slides and I think more - just was not interested in it. There are perfect tennis courts and the one who's interested can take tennis lessons. We regretted we did not take our rackets with us. The stuff is very helpful and nice. The food is great. You really don't want to leave the resort - you have everything there, even supermarket and a gift shop. The resort itself reminds a small cosy village with a main building, SPA building and even a chirch. All the rest appartments are spread around as village houses. We already want to come back!.
