Great experience in iconic building right in centre of Västerås. Rooms are nice with ample space, minibar and modern bathroom. Breakfast amazing and staff very friendly. Will stay again.

The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The bed was a little wobbly, but that might be just my preference. The breakfast was really great. Better than a larger hotel chain that I stayed at in Stockholm. If you want a sampling of traditional Swedish breakfast items, they had it. Several different types of knäckebröd and regular bread. Lots of different meat options and pickled herring to put on it. They had traditional Swedish rosehip soup and blueberry soup options. They also had eggs and bacon and several other things.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, generous breakfast buffet and comfortable common areas.

Great base for vistobg Västerås and the surrounding area

I liked the beds, individual duvets and the breakfast buffet. It was close to anything you could need.

Came back after many years - the same high standard as in 2010 when visited 1st time. Still one of best breakfast in the world 👍

A great hotel!! The beds are like heaven you sink down like on a cloud. Very good layout of the room. Friendly people!! Old wonderful building. I’ll stay here again if I come to Västerås (instead of the steam hotel😊)

Had trouble making arrangements originally saying overbooking. Then tried again day later and was able to make arrangements. Very nice and clean.

Lovely hotel. We did experience a bad odor in the bathroom that they addressed when we brought it to their attention (from the shower drain?), but it seems odd the customer would have to note that (and it was back again to a lesser extent the next morning).

This is a great place right in the center of town. Great breakfast too.

Checkade in sent, luktade unket/avlopp från toaletten i hela rummet! Tänkte att det var tillfälligt, men doften var kvar hela vistelsen! Sen var även toasitsen trasig, locket var helt löst på den! Pratade med personalen vid utcheckning om detta, men fick inget direkt gensvar, mer än att de skulle kika på detta! Känns konstigt att man inte på nått sätt försökte kompensera detta! Bra frukost, vilket hade gjort att vi säkerligen bott där fler gånger, då vi ofta är i Västerås, men bemötandet av personalen gjorde oss klart besvikna! //Jimmy
