Efficient check in, great location just off the highway. Close to grocery store and shops. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again

Room was larger than expected

Beware of bed bugs!!! One of us was eaten alive. When we reported this, the front desk freely admitted that there had been 6 complaints in the past month but management had apparently done nothing about the infestation. Luckily Expedia promptly refunded our stay, but we then had to spend valuable holiday time searching for another hotel.

Je suis arrivé à l’hôtel à 3h du matin après une longue journée de travail et un trajet difficile dans des conditions de verglas. Au lieu d’un accueil professionnel, le réceptionniste m’a chicané dès mon arrivée, me reprochant d’avoir dépassé minuit. Je lui ai demandé poliment de remettre ses remarques au lendemain, expliquant que j’étais épuisé et que je voulais simplement dormir. Il m’a alors menacé de ne pas me donner de chambre, et m’a pointé mon téléphone de manière impolie en disant : Ce comportement est inacceptable pour un établissement censé offrir du repos et du respect à ses clients. Aucun mot d’excuse, aucune empathie, aucune compréhension des circonstances. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel si vous cherchez un minimum de courtoisie ou de professionnalisme à l’accueil.

The heater in the room made a constant ticking sound making it very hard to sleep. There were also other guests running through the halls until well after midnight. I believe it was a youth hockey team, but it was very loud and we left feeling very tired and miserable.

The room was not great, as mentioned the pipes from the toilet (?) in room above is very loud and you can hear the water rushing through each time it is used. I would not recommend this room to anyone.

Missing nightstands next to the walls for each of the queen beds. Only one nightstand in the middle, which was very inconvenient when sleeping 2 to the bed as one person had no stand. Also, the only nightstand had a drawer that would not stay closed so we had to use tape to keep it from opening. Be cautions on booking when they are expecting LARGE groups of kids, ie: hockey teams. The kids were not well behaved and ran around the hotel, playing with the elevators and screaming. Staff was NOT efficient in handling this situation and the issue went on for 3 hours.

Great room and breakfast. Everything we needed for a comfortable night on our road trip. Have stay 2 x now and will book again.

Hotel is showing its age. Wallpaper peeling , stale smelling rooms etc. The breakfast was not good at all.

The staff were very kind and helpful, which was a positive part of our stay. However, we were disappointed with a few issues. The hot tub was cold and quite dirty, and the pool was not heated and was very cold as well. In the room, we noticed some maintenance problems: the shower had very low water pressure, the baseboard near the closet kept coming loose, and the fridge was unplugged when we arrived. That said, the price was reasonable for the time of year, which partially made up for the experience.
