I had high hopes for Grand Bávaro Princess, but this stay was a complete letdown. The website promised a luxurious experience, but the reality was far from it. The room was outdated, with stained sofa and a musty smell that lingered the entire time. The staff seemed indifferent—requests for extra towels and a late checkout were met with eye-rolls and delays. The "complimentary" breakfast was a sad spread of stale pastries and lukewarm coffee, nothing like the gourmet buffet advertised. The pool area, supposedly a highlight, was dirty, with cloudy water and broken lounge chairs.Worst of all, the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent, and when I raised the issue, the front desk just shrugged it off. For the price, I expected so much more. Save your money and stay elsewhere—this place doesn’t deliver on its promises.

Amazing week

I loved the staff and the platinum experience. I would recommend they put heaters in the room, as in June the temperature drops and it was very cold i actually got sick. There were big roaches i seen twice and a few lizards in rooms. So spraying for bugs will be great too.

This is one of my favorite properties. I enjoy the food and the ambiance. Definitely great for relaxation. And the beach is great.

I liked how convenient everything was on the property. I really wanted for nothing. I did not like the seaweed or kelp that was in the water. I also did not like the Royal Holiday people who tricked us into a meeting. It was a nice trip, though.

Overall great resort but I would select another for my next trip. Check in was a little slower then expected with the platinum package, we waited around 10 min to get taken to our check in location. Staff was super helpful and kind and we were escorted to our rooms. Amenities are great the room service, lots food options, casino/ nightclub and spa. Beach was beautiful and they regularly cleaned the algae thats typical for this time of year. The night life at this hotel left a lot to be desired would definitely recommend for a more relaxing stay.

Overall our experience at this so-called 5star resort was just ok. The food at the buffet was lackluster although there was plenty. The teppanyaki restaurant was so uncomfortably hot that we left shortly after the meal was served and the meat was more than well done. The Focaccia restaurant however was delicious and our waiter (who we also had at the buffet) was very attentive and personable. The “Burrata” appetizer was lough and lacked a creamy center however the clam pasta I would come back for. In 2nd place there would be the mushroom fettuccine. The pool was HOT, cloudy, falling apart and just plain gross. The beach was nice but there was little happening about the seaweed. I get it but someone could have be n taking it off the shore line here and there. The peacocks were beautiful but so noisy early in the morning. Our cleaning lady Kenia was super nice and we really enjoyed chatting with her. The alcohol was all watered down. Funny how I could have 10 drinks and barely catch a buzz but I bought a bottle at dinner and it was lovely.

The only excellent service was on La Hispaniola buffet, the other services was a dissaster, no even on of four rooms in ground floor even I requested at least one due to health condition, the manager at the front desk was so rude, the rooms are dirty no floor cleaning, no towels, Im sorry but I dont reserve on that hotel again

I like 24 hour Pub spot, I wished the shuttle would run faster than it did. Overall staff was good

The staff was very amazing, friendly and helpful
