Lovely warm welcome from Hilary and instantly made to feel at home. Food was perfect and Hilary’s homemade marmalade is very special. The peace and quiet is stunning along with the views and wildlife. A perfect get away!

Beera farmhouse is a perfect location - very secluded with beautiful view. The host (Hilary) was very helpful and the breakfast was also superb. All in all, excellent place to stay, highly recommended.

We got married just down the road at Hotel Endsleigh and used Beera Farm as overspill accommodation. All of the guests were immensely complementary about the accommodation and Hilary couldn’t have done more for us on the build up. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I stayed at this B&B for a couple of nights on our trip to southern England in May. I’ve travelled a lot in Britain and elsewhere and have to say this is one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever stayed at. The room was comfortable, beautiful and extremely clean with a lovely view from the window. The hosts were friendly and helpful and there were lots of books to read about the surrounding area. There’s a great choice on the breakfast menu and if you get a chance, have dinner. The hostess, Hilary, is an amazing chef. My daughter and I had dinner and both gave it 5 stars - honestly - the meal was that good! This B&B is in a great area for exploring southern England - right next to Dartmoor, Lydford Gorge and the coast. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area and my daughter is all ready planning to come again with her husband and son.

A very warm welcome with a delicious complementary Devon cream tea, a great way to start our stay. The bedrooms were well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers etc. Good quality towels and dressing gowns provided. Nice size rooms with amazing views over the countryside and farm livestock. The breakfast was well cooked with a good choice. We had an evening meal which was excellent in a lovely cosy dining room with log fire. A great experience with fantastic hosts.

A lovely quiet setting in beautiful rolling countryside. The option of taking a delicious evening meal and super picnic make this B&B an ideal jumping off point for walkers who want to park up to just explore the upper Tamar Valley. With Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor less than 20 minutes by car there is more than enough to fill a week or more on foot. Once you have stayed with the welcoming Tucker family you will not wish to stay anywhere else within 50 miles. A gem!

A warm welcome from lovely hosts Hilary and Robert on their beautiful, secluded farm. Very comfortable room with good facilities, including chairs to relax. The breakfast was excellent - best of our trip - and there is lots of information on things to do locally. We recommend Beera Farmhouse for a quiet getaway in the beautiful Devon countryside.

Down windy narrow lanes and surrounded by green hills and close to the River Tamar, a lovely quiet spot. Hilary provides great breakfasts and sometimes an evening meal and she is very friendly. Nice spacious room with country views and small en-suite shower room. Perfect for two or three nights. Decent historic pub half a mile down the road and other excellent ones further afield. A very relaxing place to stay and highly recommended.

My husband and I have just returned from our 3 night stay at the BEERA B&B. We stayed in the 4 poster bedroom which was delightfully decorated and so very comfortable. The setting of this working farm was so beautiful and tranquil. We ate at the B&B for 2 nights out of the 3 and Hilary's cooking would beat any Master Chef believe me! There is a good pub within half a meal where we ate for the 3rd night - also good food What a lovely family and what a great place You'd be mad not to visit.

I loved our stay at beer farmhouse it is in a very peaceful location and the owners Hilary and Robert were so welcoming it made you feel at home straight away. We had the four poster room which was really pretty and very clean and comfortable. There were lovely touches like flowers and fudge in your room and bath robes. Even a hot water bottle hanging on the door. The bed was really comfy with crisp white sheets it was lovely to wake in the morning to the sound of the sheep and the birds. The breakfasts were delicious we also had dinner there the first night which was wonderful. We were house hunting in the area and Hilary was so helpful finding out information regarding the areas we were looking at. They even gave us the house section of the local paper. Although this is a busy working farm nothing seemed too much trouble. I would highly recommend this b and b and would love to return when we are next in the area.

This was a find! Tucked away in the countryside but easy to get to, this charming 19th C. farmhouse was one of the best B and Bs we've ever visited. Our room was very comfortable (shower a bit tight, but with an excellent spray) with a queen four poster bed and a gorgeous view of the rolling Devon countryside. The breakfast menu had an unusual number of hot and cold options (eggs, sausages, cereals, fruit, breads...) with carbs and protein both, and had a great hot vegetarian farmhouse plate. The wi-fi was spotty at times, but one could manage, There is a pub nearby for an evening meal, and the town of Tavistock is about five miles away. We were there at lambing time, and our hosts welcomed us to visit the lambing shed and even help bottle feed a baby. The family was just so welcoming and so friendly, we felt we were visiting old friends. Hated to leave!

Nice B&B on a Farm. Very quiet. Hikary takes perfect care of you and served best breakfast during our 10 day trip. Access to the farm requires good nerves as roads are only one car wide - real fun!
