Disappointed not to be able to have breakfast, but given the use of space in the fridge & warned so was able to take cereal, fruit yoghurt etc. Very comfortable spacious room with bottles of water, tea & coffee in room.

Excellent country pub with great food menu and nice beer selection. Room really nice, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Large bar area with nice friendly atmosphere. Excellent

ROOM WAS CLEANED EVERY DAY AND THEY LEAVE A BOTTLE OF WATER AND SOME BISCUITS. fOOD IN THE BAR WAS EXCELLENT BUT A LITTLE BIT OVER PRICED BUT OVERALL A GOOD PLACE TO STAY

Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends.

Staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. It was a very enjoyable stay!

Our 3 night stay was very pleasant and the Globe Inn provided good value. Our room was comfortable and clean and offered all that was required. The Breakfast was good and the Evening meals purchased were acceptable.

We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout.

Very convenient location. The evening meal in the restaurant was extremely good, as was the breakfast.

Great pub, really friendly staff, clean decent sized rooms. The food was really good and reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Really friendly staff (especially the breakfast lady!) and a great location. I probably should have researched first to spot live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. That wasn’t that much of an issue as over by 22.30 (both bands were pretty good to be fair) but the rowdy hen party on Saturday kept us awake long after the band had finished.

Rather expensive for a fairly small room and cramped bathroom. Breakfast was short staffed so we had to forgo our full English

The rooms were cozy. The showers were great. Service was outstanding. The food was awesome. Would definitely recommend!
