The welcome was friendly. Our rooms were fine but the bathroom floor a little damaged. The TV lost signal, which I reported. We popped into the bar in the evening and it was fun and friendly. Very nice overall and fairly priced. Great location.

We stayed for 4 nights in this historic inn which is very centrally located in Wells; just a stone’s throw from the cathedral. It has a nice pub and the food was good including the breakfast (which was not included in our package). The staff were friendly and helpful. A fan was provided as it was an unusually warm week. Our room, and the courtyard leading to it, could use an update.

A great room in the back yard area of the pub. Staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and had a big floor standing fan which was brilliant in the heat. A great place to stay and great value

NO HOT WATER FIRST NIGHT HOTEL KNEW

This was another great Expedia find. If you’re accustomed to the Ritz, this would not be quite what you’re looking for, but it’s a solid place to sleep and shower, and you can’t top the quality of the people who work here. A most affordable place to stay that’s right in the heart of the city. My only real problem was spotty WiFi. Loved it here, especially the people.

Perfect situation, comfortable. Only downside was v small window in my room which needed more ventilation on an extremely hot weekend. Fans do not ventilate. I slept with the door open which was fine.

Coffee was undrinkable, pastry was soggy. Continental breakfast inedible.

Nice hotel very convenient for attaractions

I would be great if the White Hart Inn offered a simple takeaway breakfast (at a cheaper rate) for when you are in a rush to get on the road. Maybe a voucher deal for the coffee shop next door? I think a bar fridge in the room would mean one could stay longer and refrigerate snacks etc. Loved the dog friendly atmosphere and the staff were AMAZING.

The room and staff were lovely. Unfortunately the breakfast which I had thought was in luded was not and at £15 expensive...Our room had a constant loud banging noise all night from the balcony roof so we had no sleep.

Tea, coffee & hot chocolate available in the room with biscuits too. Great value room, comfortable bed, great location and quiet

Convenient to visit Wells Cathedral

Our room was lovely.

My husband and I stayed for one night and it was ideal. Centrally located, clean and great value. Plus the BEST shower we’ve ever had.

The Bar was brilliant with real ales etc. Breakfast was ok from a limited menu. But reasonable value.
